Squid Game Season 2 Episode 3 - REACTION & Commentary

TOP also did a good job playing an antagonist character in IRIS (which Lee Byung-hun/Front Man was the main lead of), but I very much prefer him here since the characterization of Thanos has more depth. He looks like he's having the time of his life in these games LOL 🀣

It's funny you say that 100 looks like that as I just finished watching PAROLE EXAMINER LEE and he plays someone arrogant and corrupt

easy my friend. I don't come with anything at all. I'm not here to talk politics. I'm just saying that there is a serious demographic problem in my country and that it is not in our interest to encourage transgenderism. But of course those who are can live in peace, that's obvious. But yes, in my second country, France, my father's country, there is propaganda that encourages children to change sex if they feel the need. And this even against the advice of parents (who, I remind you, have legal responsibility for their children until they come of age). If a child cannot drink, smoke or drive before (16, 18 or 21 years old depending on the country), I don't see how they could have enough maturity and understanding of the lifelong consequences of changing sex. There are subjects like this everywhere in Europe and in the USA, in California for example. I say this with full knowledge of the facts, my sister is a teacher in France and she saw the paradigm shift happen 2 or 3 years ago. But once again I'm just talking about children, minors who are not able to make such decisions. Adults do as they want. It's not a judgment, it's still normal to protect children, right? Marcel I don't know why you seem so upset. But at no point do I talk about harassing anyone. I didn't even use that term. Of course everyone has to survive, I don't know why you take it so seriously. As for rights, LGBTQ people have the same rights as anyone else because they are human beings like any other people, rights have nothing to do with your sexual orientation. I don't really know what other rights they want. No one on the street knows my sexual orientation for example, so I don't really know why I would have more or less rights. when we work on our CV the only thing that matters is our training, our professional background and our skills there is no reason to be harassed I have worked with gay people without even knowing it, simply because these things must remain in the private domain. after if people have behaviors that are confusing there could indeed be harassment. but honestly these days homosexuality is rather well accepted even in a conservative country like Korea, there are a lot of idols who are gay, but they are discreet enough to leave doubt. but it is a known thing. but the transgender subject is more complicated in Korea you must also accept that people, Christians, Buddhists, Muslims and even atheists have beliefs that make changing sex unnatural or against God's creation. so this subject is very thorny in any case have a good day it is always important to exchange without insulting or disrespecting people. as I said for my part I have no problem with that as long as it is not imposed on me.

120 (the actor from the glory) is my GIIIIRL!!! best character haha

Don't come at me with the "but the children" argument. Children aren't stupid. They're perfectly capable of understanding these subjects if you explain it to them with the appropriate care and empathy. "LGBTQ propaganda" is not really a thing. All we ask for is for people to be treated with kindness, respect and most importantly, for them to get the same rights and recognition as everyone else. "It must not be encouraged" What must not be encouraged? People being allowed to live their life as their true self without being harrassed or persecuted for it? Believe me, most trans people don't actually WANT to be trans. But they just are. It's not something they can choose or control. That goes for all queer people actually. Here's something I saw on social media once: "We do not want to turn your kids trans. We just want your trans kids to survive" As in, kids who already are trans. Because, again, this is not something they can choose. This is why education and good representation are so important. If a trans kid doesn't know about any of this, they might go through large parts of their life feeling super uncomfortable in their own body, like something is wrong with them without understanding what it is or why. And no one should have to feel like this.

Yes it’s the guy from The Glory!!!!! Such an intricate character and I love seeing the diversity in which he can act ahhhh!

you are right only it is more complicated than that there are interviews with the director who explains that he did not find trans actors. we are not going to go too much on the subject of DEI which can be a complicated subject and this channel is not a political channel. but it is obvious that many industries have followed this policy including cinema, platforms like Netflix etc ... especially in the West. in South Korea we do not suffer from this. there is of course no problem with being trans, gay or whatever each person lives as they want. the problem is in making propaganda or pushing the subject to children who have neither the capacity to understand nor to make the decision. the subject is all the more complicated in Korea because we have big demographic problems. it would be stupid and incomprehensible to push LGBTQ propaganda in a country like ours. but of course there is no problem being gay it has always existed since human beings have existed. and I can understand that people can feel bad about themselves and that they can want to change sex. but this must remain a minority and it should not be encouraged. I will not go further because it is not the subject of the channel. I am conservative and Buddhist and I respect all beliefs as long as they are not imposed on me.

- LOL no it's not a robotic bee it's just a stroke of luck. the series takes place in our time in our world a technology like that has no reason to be in the series. - yes following both sides is the most exciting No-eul seemed to be a nice compassionate girl. seeing her coldly murder people for the Front Man is shocking what is the reason for her behavior??? is she being blackmailed?? what about the other armed guards?? - Thanos is rotten and a drug addict however he disgusts me less than the tug of the first season. - LOL my god people are stupid they become zombies when they see money. I have never been interested in money, it is necessary to live in a big city or to benefit from certain comforts. But in reality, personally, I can do without it. I am self-sufficient. I have free water in my well, I have a large vegetable garden and electricity is not expensive in South Korea. I am a homeowner. I can live properly with a salary of 1,820,000 won. I have no debts, I don't smoke, I don't have a car and the telephone and internet cost almost nothing. I don't understand how people can be so indebted or so addicted to money - and there we see that the rules have changed compared to the first season now they can leave after any game if they vote for it with the amount of money won divided by the number of survivors. it's already much better than during season 1 - this means that even if after the sixth game there are 10 or 100 survivors they can share the money whereas in season 1 there could only be one winner. this can push people to form alliances. - the worst player who is the most to be feared for me is player 100 he looks like a manipulative and arrogant politician who thinks that everything is owed to him.

fabrice maire

"there are no Trans actors in South Korea" That's just factually incorrect. A 5 second Google search gives me at least three names: Choi Han-bit, Harisu and Lee Si-yeon. And I'm sure there are more. Also, "DEI" is not a thing. It's a right-wing dogwhistle. Please don't fall for that.

Gi-hun had a plan but that was before his troops were spotted and before he lost his tracker. Now he is left to his own devices without any plan other than making sure that as few people as possible die in the games - there are several very well-known actors, a Kpop star 1 player 333 Yim se-wan former member of ZE:A a group that made a career from 2010 to 2017 he has been an actor since 2017 DG you saw him in STRANGER FROM HELL -2 player 222 Jo- Yuri former member of IZ*ONE and main vocalist of the group she is now a solo singer and Squid game is his first Drama -3 player 120 Park sung-hun he actually played in The Glory his character is controversial because of course being transgender in South Korea is inappropriate and just tolerated. the director of Squid games who did not want to make another season of the series bowed to Netflix's DEI policy to "incorporate" a trans character so he took a man because there are no Trans actors in South Korea. - 4 player 007 Yong-sik a former singer and rapper who has a very long acting career well known for his role in "Fighter in the wind" and "perfect game" - 5 player 149 Geum-ja actress known in particular for her role in "extraordinary attorney woo" - THE FRONT MAN Lee byung-hun probably the greatest actor of his generation known for his long 30-year career in cinema he played in "i Saw the devil" the 2 American films "G.I. JOE", Terminator Genisys, the 7 Magnificent, Athena goddess of war etc...

Yeah, I saw the same kind of β€žspoilerβ€œ. Well, I did watch the first trailer so I already knew what TOP looks like but social media gave me his character's name too. And a spoiler for a certain scene which I would've liked to see on my own first. Oh well. This is what I get for waiting for your reactions instead of binging the entire thing immediately I guess. - I commented that because it also took me until AFTER the episode to realise, oh wait, that's not Yuri πŸ˜… - Welcome back to Hell. - Yup, the trans woman is played by Park Sung-hoon, aka Jae-jun from The Glory. His casting was not without controversy. Some people raised some very legitimate questions as to why they casted a cis man to play this role instead of an actual trans woman. And beyond that, Park Sung-hoon himself is also under fire right now for sharing some pornographic(?) content on his Instagram story. - You know what, I'm not even sorry for the crypto guy. If you're gonna be stupid enough to gamble with that, you deserve to lose all your money. - OHH, it's even worse than that! - β€žThey only lend ten billion won to those who can pay it backβ€œ And yet, you are here in the games. - How does TOP look younger here than in the music videos from 10+ years ago? - Fuck MrBeast sideways, I hate this asshole so much. - Never thought I'd actually cringe at TOP's attempt of a rap but here we are πŸ˜‚ - Gi-hun does sound like a lunatic unfortunately. But what else can he do? - I mean, it's working! So far. - Well, I guess that girl isn't gonna have as big a role as I thought. - Aaaand there we go. - This is making it really hard for me to sympathise with No-eul. I get it, you're in crippling debt. But would you really just murder people in cold blood like that? - At least it's a much better result than in S1. 91 killed vs over 200. Gi-hun couldn't save everyone but his strategy still worked to some degree. - They really have a way of emphasising that this is all voluntary. And now that the players know about the true nature of the games, it's all up to them. Still, even if the majority vote to end the games fails, the game masters should provide an option for individual people to leave if they want, even without any prize money. ...not me trying to legitimise actual death games here... - Oh great, make a big point of who voted what. Ever heard of voter anonymity? - Crypto guy is played by Im Siwan, main character of Strangers from Hell, Yoon Jong-woo. - As expected, Gi-hun's appeal to common sense completely backfired. - β€žMoney doesn't make you happyβ€œ is a lie told to us by the upper class. Of course it makes you happy. I'd be much happier if I didn't have to worry about this huge bill I have to pay very soon. I'd be much happier if I had the money I need to go to all the concerts and travel to all the theme parks I want. I'd be much happier if I had enough money to not have to go to work and instead spend my time doing things I actually enjoy. Obviously, money makes you happy. This is what capitalism is. Yes, there comes a point where even more money doesn't make you MORE happy anymore. But you and I and everyone in that room in the Squid Games are VERY far away from that point. - At least my girl Yuri voted to get out. - WHAT THE FUCK. - Well I guess player 001 always has to be someone special. - This is a cool contrast. In S1, Oh Il-nam cast the final vote to leave the games. Probably to make everyone realise how hopeless life on the outside is when you don't have money. Here, Hwang In-ho casts the final vote to keep playing, essentially telling Gi-hun that there is nothing he can do to stop these games.

Marcel Wannieck

Omg that's right!!! I didn't recognize him with all of his sanity intact 🀣🀣
