yeah. SBS has always sucked especially due to their technology issues... remember how last year during stray kids performance they played someone elses song "accidentally." So Changbin talked about how they seemed to have collaborated with many artists/idols that night π€£

2025-05-23 22:33:29 +0000 UTCA little info to stray kids performance: The backtrack was way to loud and they were basically fighting against it. Changbin and Lee Know almost screamed into their mics. Hyunjin sometimes didn't even finish singing/rapping and seemed really pissed of. Seungmin and Bang Chan tried singing delayed to the back track in the second half of mountains. Its really sad. Their performance was great tho. They seem especially pissed of in mountains.

2025-01-31 07:11:39 +0000 UTCJust some info about GD's live stage: he was actually having a lot of issues during the performance (confirmed by one of his staff member's Instagram post) - his in-ear wasn't working properly, and his mic volume was too soft so he was screaming so hard into the mic all while battling a fever. Ironically you can hear his voice clearer in fancams instead π₯² SBS really done the boy dirty this time. Nevertheless thanks for the reaction as always! Hope you have a great start to 2025 (:

2025-01-01 15:29:07 +0000 UTCwhat i mean by "they change concept" is that their title track has always had a girl crush concept that put forward a big assurance on the edge of arrogance and "girl power". which does not mean that they do not have softer b-sides and iterations of their basic concept. for some time and in particular since this comeback they have a more introspective concept, more vulnerable more soft it is the first MV of this type I think. but i could be wrong as i said i do not follow this group.

2024-12-29 02:54:40 +0000 UTC- Since there's also a city in South Korea called Daejeon, I wondered if there was a relation to this festival. After I looked it up, there apparently isn't any connection. I know "Gayo" means "song/music", and "Dae" is often used to make things "grand/greater". "Gayo Daejeon" seems to mean "song/music festival". More or less goes for the other broadcasting channel music festivals: SBS Gayo Daejeon - music festival MBC Gayo Daejejeon - music festival KBS Gayo Daechukje - music festivities Cravity - Ah, I'm still catching up on Ace of Ace, so I guess I got spoiled π¬ Don't worry about it though. - Winning Queendom/Kingdom rarely seems to do much for popularity/sales. WJSN even got to do a whole special concert as the prize (which was amazing btw), and they are still fighting against disbandment π’ Nmixx - Their (live) performances are always great. - I like how Jiwoo is smiling and enjoying herself. - They seem so at ease when performing. Great expressions, and vocals are always great. BoyNextDoor - Yeah, this festival has great camerawork. Notice that very large portions here are 1 take! They make it dynamic with cameramovement and -zooms. Not by constantly cutting between 50 camera's. ZB1 - I was looking forward to their performance as they are usually awesome, but I have to say I was a little disappointed here. It was nice, simple and clean, but nothing special. TXT - When I saw Yeonjun, I immediately thought back at how Youngji cutely nicknamed him "ggum" π, but then his amazing dancing snapped me right back. NewJeans - They are still in the proces of trying to leave Ador/Hybe. It's a lawsuit now. But in the meantime, I think they still fulfill their contractual activities. At least the ones that were already planned before they announced they were gonna (try to) leave. - The Ditto video was a nice callback, but also a bit weird. They could've done a small Christmas video for example. - Hype Boy! LET'S GO DG! πΊ Le Sserafim - That whole opening SLAYED! Starting with Yunjin π€© Sulyoon - I love these crossovers. Would have loved to see Red Velvet's reaction, but I guess they weren't invited...again... π Where my 3rd gen groups at? Heeseung - I absolutely LOVED his dancing. Only wished his black outfit was a little more distinguishable from the dancers. Yunho - I just knew you were gonna make the DPR Ian connection as well π . I need to know what song this was though. IVE - What do you do when you have so many hit songs? You do a medley! And I love hearing all these songs again π - The ending was a bit weird for me though, with the giant heart. aespa - I didn't know Pink Hoodie either. Must be a b-side and I really like when groups do that. - It reminded you of NCT, but it reminded me of BadVillain's Yah-ho. Enhypen - I really liked Heeseung's sweater. - Loved that performance. ATEEZ - I can no longer unsee the resemblance between Seong Hwa and Siyeon (Dreamcatcher) π Especially now that they're both blond. - Ice On My Teeth is a song that I wouldn't think would suit a festival like this, being a bit slow / not so energetic and all, but it's so good! 2NE1 - So many iconic things/references: CL's fashion, Sandara's crazy hairstyles, Minzy's split, Bom's star βοΈ - I wonder if they're (ever) gonna make new music. I'm so curious what it would sound like / if it would work in today's age. KEY - π΅ Pi-ka-chuuuus π΅ ("pick and choose" π ) TXT - Amazing intro π€ - Yeah, Soobin is on hiatus. The rest will also take a long break after the Golden Disc awards (5 jan). (G)I-DLE - Seeing Miyeon reminded me to let you know about the latest ep of Hyell's Club, where almost everybody of HyeMiLeeYeChaePa was present. - Fun performance, which is a nice changeup. ZB1 Monsta X Cover - Gun-wook looked so good here. The styling, dancing and song fitted him so well. Yujin & Karina Cover - Here it is. Hands down my fav performance of the night πππ This is up there with other legendary duo performances like Irene & Seulgi's Monster and Yeji & Ryujin's studio choom performance. Ho-ly shit. The collab I didn't know I needed. And they are also very cute/goofy together off-stage. They match each other very well. G-DRAGON - Great to see and hear him again. Every performance there's something (special) going on. Thanks for the reaction video. Looking forward to your AAA reaction π

Because we have not seen them during MAMA, MMA, FACT and AAA this year. They are still as impressive - I am a very big fan of Starship and their groups I actively support Monsta X, WJSN and IVE since their beginnings as well as Cravity and yes we can not blame Starship on this side. Their groups are active Monsta x in its heyday regularly released albums as well as WJSN. Nowadays Starship puts a lot of time and money on IVE which is their golden goose. But he does not neglect Cravity. it's just that for one reason or another they don't have the success or the public attention they deserve. - for New jeans it's very complicated indeed they want hybe and suddenly abandon the name of New jeans which belongs to the label. but they want to continue as a group. the members of New jeans claim that HYBE and Ador have repeatedly violated the terms of their contract and that therefore they have the right to break the contract moreover they claim to have paid the agency an amount greater than the investment that Ador made for the members and that therefore they could terminate the contract because it was a termination clause. and therefore the members of New jeans want to leave the agency, Hybe and Ador as for them respond that there is a misunderstanding and that they do not intend to terminate the contract of New jeans and that the members must continue to perform while the justice rules on the terms of their contract. what is certain is that New Jeans do not want to stay in this agency and it dates back several months. and so for their well-being the agency must let them go. - Lesserafim I am so proud of Sakura since Produce 48 she has made prodigious progress in dance their intro is really very cool. I love this group too much they have an incredible charisma. the remix of Crazy completely changes the song - the solo performances are really cool but Wizard of Oz is the performance that I prefer. - the little medley of IVE was very cute I can't wait their next comeback is in January and their albums are coming out in February. after their world tour IVE will come back in force in 2025. - AESPA as always to eat the stage. and yes the production is excellent I have the impression that we have the cameramen of INKIGAYO they have the knack to perfectly film the killing part of each performance. -ITZY I never comment and watch their performances because I'm not a fan of the group but for once I completely agree I came across the MV Imaginary Friends and it's by far their best songs. This performance is angelic it took so long for ITZY to finally change their concept - Ateez they are always very creative, and aggressive, they never get tired, they never take their foot off the gas they are just the best performers for me with SKZ. -2NE1 it's so nice to see them again they really have a unique vibe and yes DG they also always have incredible haircuts it's Sandara's trademark. she always has an improbable and unique haircut. after all these years the Legends are back. 3rd generation of YG GG active in 2025 I can't wait to see that -KEY another legend on the scene I definitely love the end of year ceremonies we always have great surprises and I love all of Key's solos -(G)IDLE I love the cute side of (G) Idle I know they want to be mature but Yuqi and Shuhua are too cute for the Christmas holidays it's the perfect concept. - Riize the cover of Monsta X was very cool they understood the vibe of Monsta X I was quite bluffed. - Yujin X Karina my god the best performance of the evening and the most beautiful surprise. for me the 2 most beautiful female idols of this ERA that's what I would like to show to several people you can be cool, sexy and stay elegant and completely dressed without being provocative and creating controversy. the perfect definition of Korean beauty - SKZ just like Ateez they are the gods of live performance as always one of the best performances of the evening - GD the legend among the legends the most popular male idol in history at his time without a shadow of a doubt. he is still incredibly popular and talented he still has things to show. BABYMONSTER - When they debuted I never thought I'd come to love them THIS much. And this song too! I'm OBSESSED with Drip. - yea ok make it even more epic with this remix why don't you -Ahyeon is a beast. CRAVITY - So nice to actually know some of their names now thanks to Road to Kingdom. - Such a good song for a show like this to close out the year. - Yes like I said, they have been at Kcon before. Several times in fact. Why the Road to Kingdom doesn't involve a new season of, you know, KINGDOM next year or something, I don't understand. WayV - Yes, I guess this really is the first time you're seeing live stuff from WayV. Seems like these shows often forget that WayV is also part of NCT and exclude them while inviting literally ALL the other units. SBS 2024 is one of the rare times where every unit is actually present here. MBC on the other hand have invited Wish, Dream and 127 but not WayV. Those fucks. Btw, do you have any plans on reacting to NCT Wish in the future? - Alright, Ten is not wearing a shirt πΆβπ«οΈ RIIZE - Love 119 works really well as a Christmas songs. - Ok, that dance break might not be AS christmassy π - Since you mention Wendy, why the hell does Red Velvet not get invited to these shows anymore? They're trying to leave Ador and Hybe but if/how that's going to work, no idea. However, the contract to perform here at SBS was most likely signed BEFORE everything started to go down. That's why they're here. I would expect NewJeans activites to significantly slow down next year. - Ditto is still one of the best songs of 2022. LE SSERAFIM - TURN UP THE CVNT - This is the Vogue Remix of Crazy. It's on Spotify! Sullyoon, Heeseung, Yunho solo stages - Again, why does Red Velvet not get invited to ANY of these shows? π - Still, Sullyoon does this song amazing justice. - Heeseung is beauty, grace and power personified! - I've never seen the Wizard of Oz (or Wicked) but I feel like Yunho took some creative liberties with the source material π Maknaez EXO Cover - So this is Woonhak of Boynextdoor, Han Yujin of ZB1, Jihoon and Kyungmin of TWS, as well as Ryo and Sakuya of NCT Wish. For the first time ever, 127 has fewer members than Dream. And they still perform as if no one was missing. Kings. G-DRAGON - I wish Power wasn't prerecorded somewhere else. - REWOP - It's his absolute effortlessness. He doesn't even have to do much and yet, his stage presence is immense. Amazing show. Glad to see that they learned from the mistakes they made last year. I will not be ranking all 40 performances here, that's just too much π But I can tell you who were my no.1: 2NE1! Everyone else is just fighting for second place tbh.
