The first few are quite short but it's like halfway through someone noticed βoh shit we need to finish this thing in 8 episodesβ and then ep. 6 is just randomly two and a half fucking hours long. And it's not even like there's anything out of the ordinary with that particular episode. It's just weirdly long. - Btw, you can basically skip the first three minutes of every episode, it's all just recaps and previews. - TAEMIN. And this beautiful man has actually announced a Europe tour. I still can't quite believe I'm actually going to see him live (hopefully if I can get tickets, that venue in Tilburg is not huge π) - ONE HUNDRED TREVIGINTILLION POINTS. Or something like that, right? π - Yeah, NCT is basically a collective of five different groups with hundreds of songs across all of them. Certainly giving you the most choice out of any of the groups on this board. - I think Phobia is a great choice. A b-side that afaik even Stray Kids themselves have never performed live. So The New Six have an opportunity to make this completely their own, with no original performance to compare it to. - With this performance I was thinking βYES, Kingdom is BACKβ. The production, the song arrangement, that goddamn rap part from Hwi and Kyungjun. Magnificent! - THE CLOTH. - And that explosive finale. Yeah, TNX have set the bar HIGH with the first performance. - Tempest did really well but they are at a disadvantage. The vibe of their performance is very similar to their direct competitor (and also quite similar to the original song), plus they went second. The opportunity to wow everyone with an explosive first impression is already gone. And they also don't have the same level of creative stage direction. The spinning crown is cool but it's not much compared to all the props TNX had. And The New Six had the originality bonus of picking a song that has never been performed live before. - This battle goes to TNX for me. - Enhypen Match! I had kinda hoped that Tempest would pick an Enhypen song, just so Hanbin can do a little tribute to the survival show he was in π - Because you're wondering what song could fit a school uniform: Tamed-Dashed has an MV that takes place in a school. And coincidentally that's the only Enhypen title track you haven't heard yet. Obviously that's not the song 8Turn went with here but that would've been a good fit too. - I really like the performance from 8Turn. Light on the props but fully on point with the performance. Synchronisation is crazy. And Yungyu's solo part with the handheld mic really left an impression on me. Great job! - Ah yes, Queendom 1 where Minnie spoke the ancient language of Thai π€ - Eunsang is going full possessed mode. - Sorry 8Turn, but Younite just completely wiped the floor with you. Best performance of this entire episode! The sheer scale of it all, the slow corruption of Eunsang, the way all the props were used (I loved the shadow section) and then also the rearrangement of the song that kept the basic vibe of the original while also twisting it into something new and unique. I cannot find a single flaw in this performance. I love it! Eunsang is a goddamn demon. Next episode is gonna be crazy as well, I can tell you that much.
