January Mini Pin Club

I hope you all are doing well! ♥ I don't have too many updates this time, except for Brook fillers are almost done hehe. Also I appreciate you all so much for showing up and supporting me for the last in hand drop! Also omg Christmas and New Years Eve is so soon, how did this whole year pass already?? (ʘ ͜ʖ ʘ) I hope you all have a wonderful December regardless of if you celebrate the Holidays or not (❁´◡`❁)

The theme for January is rain season hehe It's wild that it already started snowing in some parts of the US, and I heard it also already snowed in Berlin, Germany (´。＿。｀) So I guess I'm technically a bit late with this? hahah buut we also know what happens after the rain! The flowers start blooming again! (❁´◡`❁) So this is a bit of a mix of both rain season and the beginning of Spring. You know, the thing that inspired this whole set the most is the cute little rain dolls, that I saw on some "Treasure Cruise" official art!

Did you know, people back in the Edo period in Japan started making these tiny dolls out of white paper or cloth. The farmers there would just hang them outside their windows using a string. People believed these dolls had some kind of magic in them, like they could bring in good weather and keep the rainy days at bay.

I know that these aren't looking 100% clean, like the faces might not look perfect, but I was thinking about how they would look like if these were hand made so I think it fits haha It's like, they've got their own personality, you know? Like, not your typical clean-cut look, but more like, 'Yeah, I made this, and it's got character.' 😆

Like I said, after every rain, there is sunshine (and flowers blooming again🤭) So I thought this would be perfect after the three rain dolls worked their magic ✨
Also now that I think about it, those butterfly wings remind me a bit of Reiju 👀
