A quick reminder that the I Land 2/Road To Kingdom 2 is still going and next week I'm taking the Friday off from Survival Shows, seeing as we just finished 4 separate shows (2 Dramas, Variety Show With Nana Tour, and I-land) next week will feel a bit empty but I'll be back the week after next with new Survival Show, new VarietY Show, and 2 new Dramas!

Right, so a little update on the guys that didn't make it into Enhypen: - K participated in Hybe Labels Japan's survival show &AUDITION β The Howling and debuted as a member of &TEAM in December 2022. That's not a spoiler for that survival show btw because K and the other three candidates from I-Land came into &Audition as pre-fixed members of the debuting group. The show was more about finding 5 additional members to join them, out of the 11 other candidates. Also, K made a cameo appearance in Enhypen's Drunk-Dazed MV. - Daniel seemingly almost debuted in TWS, which is Seventeen's little brother group. But he left Pledis before that. His current status is unknown to me. - Hanbin joined Yuehua Entertainment and debuted as a member of TEMPEST. You actually reacted to their debut song Bad News back in early 2022 but didn't keep up with them after that. This is their most recent comeback Lighthouse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6WIePs7U4g - Taki joined &Audition together with K and also debuted in &Team. Enhypen's Japanese brother group. And their lore is deeply intertwined. Enhypen are vampires while &Team are the werewolves. Their debut song Under My Skin already got a 10 minute long MV because it's so damn full of lore: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pATvex8f9kU - Geonu (whose name rhymes with Sunoo; don't pronounce the E) debuted as a member of JUST B in June 2021. And he also had that cameo in Drunk-Dazed together with K. - Kyungmin was also supposed to be part of &Audition but he left Hybe and eventually joined MNH where he would debut as a member of 8TURN. So that's K, Taki, EJ and Nicholas who got to be in Enhypen's brother group. - Jaebeom, now known as Ichan, competed on Boys Planet where he made it up to episode 8. And you'll be seeing quite a lot more from these two very soon because they're on Road to Kingdom 2! Just B and another group by the name of ATBO joined forces for Road to Kingdom and are competing together as a collaborative project group called The CrewOne. - Sungchul debuted in June 2023 as a member of LUN8. However, after accusations of dating violence turned out to be true, he was swiftly kicked out of the group. The group itself also quietly disbanded a little while later, only ever having received one comeback. Some bangers in there though. I really like the b-side track FUEGO (Fearless). - Seon is working as a member of the producing team CIELOGROOVE. - Jaeho's current status is unknown to me. - Yoonwon is the candidate who withdrew from the show due to injury. His current status is unknown to me.

Caravan Palace on Monday, Lindsey Stirling on Tuesday, ARTMS on Thursday and A.C.E yesterday. And I also had B.I and Dead by April earlier this month, plus Starset and NCT Dream coming up in about a week. Busy month to say the least. When all is said and done, I will have attended 31 concerts in 2024. My wallet is NOT happy π - The MC actually exists in the flesh! - Ooh, starting right up with one of the original songs, nice. - Having a bias and supporting the whole group are two separate unrelated things. Just because I ult Haseul (and nearly fucking collapsed when I saw her irl for the first time just a few days ago) doesn't mean I don't love and support ALL of Loona with all my heart. - I-Land definitely turned me into a Heeseung and Jay stan, with Sunoo not too far behind. - ALRIGHT JAY WE GET IT. YOU WANT PART 4. - Damn. - It's really great to see all 9 of them working together like this. - Yeah, Enhypen is a really great name. Especially in Kpop, where group names can get quite stupid π - Great final song and amazing performance! I feel like I say this in almost every survival show finale but you could honestly just debut all the finalists as one group together. - Complete failure at their try not to cry challenge - Very nice to have the whole gang back together :) - Beautiful. Seeing this many synchronised people on stage together is always so mesmerising. That's one thing I love about tripleS as well. - Obviously no surprises about the lineup of Enhypen but I do wonder what the public reaction was to the producers not choosing K here. You don't have to feel bad for him btw, he found his place in another group :) I'll keep it short: it was really great to see the whole process that formed Enhypen. I'm glad I watched this show and I'm really excited for season 2 :) Like I did for Produce, I plan to compile a little update on what the eliminated candidates have been up to since I-Land. I'll probably post that tomorrow or the day after.
