My Name Episode 8 (FINALE) - REACTION & Commentary

Holy f****!

A quick reminder that next week I'll be taking some time off from Dramas, I'll be back the week after next with 2 new dramas (one decided by you guys, and one by me).

My Name Episode 8 (FINALE) - REACTION & Commentary

Comments

-Han so-Hee is really one of the best actresses. If she plays Jiwoo so well, it's because So-hee has a very difficult life. Her mother is a criminal and So-hee had a lot of problems because of her. She received a lot of hate from people who wanted her to pay for what her mother did. Her mother has no consideration for her. And she takes advantage of her daughter's status as an actress to ask her for money. So without being at the same level as Jiwoo, So-hee looks a lot like her character. -How sad Jiwoo has never known love or even having friends or a boyfriend and the only time in her life when she shares a real moment of happiness is taken away from her by shooting Pildo in the head. She will not be able to lean on him, she will have finally lost everything. -for Mujin he is a real villain but just a question of perspective from his point of view "he has already been betrayed too much" that he kills Jiwoo's father made sense. the only thing a little unexpected is why he took Jiwoo under his wing. from his point of view we could think that he had remorse for having killed his father so he "educated" Jiwoo in his own way and allowed her to have her revenge "if" she found the murderer. the fact that Jiwoo discovered the truth and came to kill him is therefore logical but for him and his twisted vision it is a betrayal. -in the end even if Jiwoo had her revenge she lost everything and I think she will never have a very happy life, at best she will live reclusive and isolated at worst she will be arrested and will go to prison. this ending is very sad. I even thought Jiwoo was going to die, she took an incredible number of stab wounds. It's actually the hardest show you've seen on your channel and the most visceral. It's the saddest ending.

Fuck man, why did I have to see this comment before watching the episode? Argh

- Okay, at least Pildo knows the truth now. - I think I've said it before but Pildo is genuinely the most decent person on this show. - Hm, I don't know if I like the romance aspect here. Feels out of place in this kind of show. - Mujin was using Jiwoo. Plain and simple. It's possible that he might have developed some kind of caring and appreciation for her but it never came from a place of good intentions. Let's not forget that. - Okay, Mujin is losing it. - FUCK - Jiwoo literally crawling on the skin of her teeth in that last fight. - And there we are. She killed the murderer of her dad. It did not go the way I predicted in episode 1 but Jiwoo got her revenge in the end. Great show. The action was impeccable. And I like how to the point it was. 8 episodes and done. No filler. Good shit.

what a journey!!! By all means rest, rejuvenate and take some mental health days u know, just basically unwinding de-stressing etc This was a great journey of emotions, i forgot how good this drama was. it certainly takes revenge to a new level. Now i need to go watch cartoons to forget the carnage . Thank you for the hard work this was a great show to react to. Enjoy your time away
