It wouldn't surprise me if you're right about the girls referencing each other in their solo's. I've thought this too, and I think it's because they're very close, but also, because they're well aware of how their solo work is entwined with Blackpink - they're who they are and where they are because of each other and the group. I also suspect that there's some co-ordination going on between them - I know that they don't want to step on each other with their solo work, and I wouldn't be shocked if they also discussed themes and content. I agree with all you said, and I also think that it's a statement about not being apologetic about being a "pretty girl". Female Idols often get accused of just being a "pretty girl" and that's it. She's owning it and saying " Yes, we're pretty, but we're not dumb." You make this "Patreon" sound pretty good, I'll have to check it out someday. ;)
