- This crystal meth talk just makes me want to rewatch Breaking Bad. Or maybe I should finally get to Better Call Saul.
- oh god oh fuck
- This is just about what I expected. Jiwoo gets into the new team and is sent on a mission to capture her own boss.
- Well, one thing is for sure, this show is goddamn nerve wracking.
- Oh shit this team is basically fully dedicated to catching Mujin. Maybe not such a good idea for Jiwoo to join them 😬
- And this, kids, is why you don't just let your mutilated ex-subordinate survive and run away.
- Only three died? Are you fucking joking? I saw WAY more people getting stabbed with machetes.

With my comments from last episode I wasn't trying to imply that you were wrong I was just stating that I had a different take on it that's all. They're all bad guys I just kinda like Choi Mujin for some reason.
I forgot how fast this show moves. So much has already happened in just this one episode and it's not even an hour long.
Before getting out of her car at the policy station she put her burner phone in the glove compartment that she uses to contact Mr. Choi. Hopefully Choi Mujin wouldn't text her on her regular phone for all the cops to see :)
Having a drug lab of that size on a ship and manufacturing the drugs in international waters does seem like a good idea to me.
As an American I still find it hard to believe that all of the gangs in Korea don't use guns. I know it's illegal for civilians to own guns but criminals by definition don't obey the law. If they're smuggling drugs they could just as easily smuggle weapons. However it does make all the fight scenes cooler as they get to fight each other with fists and knives instead of just guns.
It seemed like you didn't notice the guy at the beginning of the episode with the giant scar across his face was the same guy who got his face cut open last episode :) I'm pretty sure the 3 dead + 1 critical were all GangJae's doing. The rest of the gang just beat them into submission and I'm sure they all have plenty of cuts and bruises but only Gangjae was there killing people. I would have been funny if any of the gang recognized Jiwoo when she showed up to the gym. It was a long time ago and they're a little preoccupied at the moment with bleeding out and all. It kinda seemed like Taeju was staring past Giho at Jiwoo at the end but hard to tell with the camera angle.
Jiwoo now has a lot on her plate on top of finding her dad's killer and we're almost halfway threw the show.
I enjoyed the reaction as always and am glad the show is dark enough for you :)

About the checking of the guns. Captain Cha wasn't really suspicious or paranoid about his own team.
He was talking to the captain of another team of the raid who said that no one of that team fired a gun.
Only then Cha felt the need to check his unit.

I didn't have the opportunity to post a comment on episode 2, I had a super busy week.
-I wanted to come back to the construction of Jiwoo's character. It has been said that Hollywood has a lot of trouble (by ideology) giving us strong, endearing and well-built female characters. We have a lot of Mary Sus, women who know how to do everything better than others without the slightest training (example Ray)
-Jiwo is the example of a female character that I love, she has experienced a lot of bad things in life, adversity allows us to have empathy for her. Moreover, she is not strong because she is a woman, she is strong because she is tenacious and resilient. From the first two episodes we see that not only has she seen her father killed and society turn its back on her, but she has also been beaten up and harassed by despicable men. but in addition she underwent 5 years of training from 2016 to 2021 within the organization plus training in the police. from now on whatever happens in the series Jiwoo has experience and training she can beat a group of 5 or 6 people and this is not shocking because despite everything she takes hits and fights back.
- and the fact that Han so-hee does these stunts herself gives even more depth and authenticity to Jiwoo's character
- let's not be mistaken Mujin choi is a gangster and a dirty guy. but as in this kind of criminal environment he has his own code of honor. he voluntarily placed Jiwoo in this environment either to harden her or to disgust her with this environment and make her give up her revenge. all in all of course for someone who cares a lot these decisions are disgusting. but from her point of view it is logical and normal if she has to be part of the gang she must be able to support it and be respected by the men of the gang.
-in this episode we begin to see how she manages this double life. all the salt of this series will be to see who she will betray her gang (her father's gang), the police, both?. catching her father's murderer will have unexpected ramifications
- yes it took you a while to realize it DG lol. but yes the 2 idiots are Jiwoo's attackers who were kicked out of the gang by Mujin choi. They set up their parallel network and sell the famous "new drug" and double-crossed Mujin.
- DG I think you didn't realize that Jiwoo is following Captain Cha because he is the one she suspects of having killed her father because she saw him that night at her door with a hoodie a few minutes the night of her father's death. and mujin told him that it was a cop who had shot his father.
- it also happens to me not to recognize certain idols that I know very well, sometimes a new haircut, a color or a drastic change of look can change an idol completely.
- the show will become very brutal and visceral. the action scenes are really well filmed there will be a lot of scenes that will remind you of Dardevil DG.
