When I was watching "New Woman" for the first time, I thought "DG's gonna LOVE this one." ;) Not just for the obvious talent, but the editing. Lisa definitely has some great videographers and video editors on payroll. She's making a very clear break from her "Lisa Blackpink" image. These artists have dual personalities - they're regular people AND performers, and those two are separate. Much of the hate they get is because fans/media can't separate the two. I'm really enjoying seeing Lisa establish her solo self, and it makes me look forwards even more to the other BP girls solos. To that separation, I watched BP's 8th anniversary live, and I was struck by how, if you compare now to some of their first lives, when they were still rookies, that group dynamic was still there. After all they've achieved, all they've been through, they're still the same people. A bit older and wiser, but no big ego, no bitterness. After not getting together as a group for so long, you'd feel like they had never been apart - the same affection, the same goofiness, the same teasing. It's amazing, since so many artists lose themselves in success.
