Flower Of Evil Episode 8 - REACTION

Flower Of Evil Episode 8 - REACTION

Comments

- 30°C at night?? How tf do you survive? - I feel called out 😅 - The background song in the café is Dumdi Dumdi by (G)I-DLE. So yes, you were indeed hearing Miyeon's voice. - Quite the parallel there between In-seo and Ji-won. - Amazing. She hasn't seen her brother in 18 years and he's just like “yo imma need you to do something for me”. Top class bother right there 👍🏻 - Just goes to show, no matter how miserable you are, Eun-ha is quite literally unhateable. (that goes for Viviz Eunha too of course) - Okay, with a husband like that, it's no wonder why Gong Mi-ja is as miserable as she is. - There's no listening device in the watch. Ji-won is just close enough to be able to hear the conversation. She IS in that location. - And the bombshell drops. - All of this could be much easier if Hyeon-su and Ji-won came clear to each other and started working on this investigation together. Alas. - “This reminds me of Strangers from Hell” I literally said the exact same thing to myself five seconds before you did 😂 - Moo-jin you are fucked - To be honest, I don't actually remember how this situation resolves so I'm just as excited to see the next one.

- I hope your mom is well. - well if Flower of Evil is one of the best shows that you reacted to on your channel (which is true) you are not ready for the shows that will be suggested to you afterwards because in the field of thrillers we Koreans are East very talented and Flower of Evil is only average of what we can produce. thrillers like Gap dong, Lookout or even Mousse are at an even better level to name only those. - the song we heard in the bar is Dumdi dumdi by (G)Idle so it's Miyeon's voice that you recognized. - No DG he has no feelings his illness prevents him from doing so. have known it from the beginning, I don't know why people have trouble understanding it. he can't love Jiwon he's incapable of it that doesn't mean he doesn't have some sort of affection for her but he's incapable of loving he doesn't love his sister either yet he covers her. he doesn't love his daughter either yet he has affection for her an affection that he has learned to feign he doesn't want harm to this family he would like to be able to have feelings and be normal but like dexter he doesn't can not . but for Jiwon this must be a real slap in the face she must be stunned. - the OSTs in this drama are magnificent, one of the OSTs reminds me of a video game that I love, Heavy Rain. -Hyeon -su is actually not that smart he doesn't make much effort to cover these tracks but that is easily explained. in fact at the moment the more the drama progresses the more it seems that Hyeon-su did nothing wrong he just usurped the identity of the man who hit him in the car. - I'm shocked DG after the scene between Moo-jin, Hyeon-su and his sister how can you think he has feelings for Jiwon. this scene alone defined Hyeon-su's character. he even admits it himself. what point would he have in telling his sister that he doesn't love his wife? She's the only one who really knows him, he doesn't need to put on an act in front of her. Moo-jin tries to get closer to his sister and Hyeon-su finds a way to lecture him; he has no tact neither with Moo-jin nor with his sister. his sister continues to be listed but for 2 obvious reasons 1 he covered and protected her 2 she knows the illness he suffers from and therefore his lack of empathy

Ooohh I’m excited for the next episodes to come. I love this series, it will continue to keep you on the edge of your seat and is getting to the good parts. I see the similarities with the actor looking like Lee know. But the one who looks literally almost identical to him is the actor Kento Yamazaki from Alice in Borderlands. That one is another amazing show that I think you would enjoy. There’s currently 2 seasons and the 3rd season is coming out soon.

It sounded like Miyeon's voice because Dumdi Dumdi was playing :) One of the main reasons I like kdrama's and other limited series is that I've watched thousands of episodes of procedural crime shows where there's always a case of the week and it always get's solved in 45 minutes and we'll only get plot developments in the first and last episodes of a season. What I love about this show is that it starts out like a case of the week show for the first 2 episodes just to give Jiwon something to do while we get introduced to the cast and the mystery but then from episode 3 on it's no longer a case of the week but a single case that keeps getting more and more interesting each week. Jiwon only put a GPS in the watch. She saw Hyun Soo wasn't going to where he told her he was so she took an uber/taxi to his location. So she missed the beginning of the conversation. It would have been a wild editing choice to physically show her in that building if she was just listening to it on her computer. I love how Mujin tells Hyun Soo that he's already found his sister because he's just that good and Hyun Soo's first thought is you already were in contact with her weren't you :) Hae Soo is my favorite character in this show. When they introduced the adult Hae Soo earlier in the season I was hoping that she would get involved and in this episode we finally have the band back together. When they first met after 18 years Hyun Soo just starts with hey I need this important information. Clearly she needed a hug but he just doesn't understand. In my opinion Hyun Soo doesn't understand what love is. He keeps saying in this episode that all he wants is to live as Baek Hee Sung. I don't believe that he gives a shit about the name/status/wealth that family gives him. It's his wife and kid that he wants to keep. He clearly doesn't like his fake parents :) I loved how the detective's figured out that the accomplice must have handed off the car keys because who would leave a kidnapped person in an unlocked car with the keys and detective Choi was like if only we could find Hyun Soo and ask him. Jiwon was like I know exactly where is :) Hyun Soo is right that Mujin's clearly not focused and is trying to get back with his sister but calling him out on it in front of her just derailed the whole meeting and embarrassed all of them. But again he clearly doesn't understand. Mujin faking being sick and then going to get the pizza's and getting surprised by Jiwon was hilarious. Even if she believed that he was sick nobody orders 3 pizza's by themselves unless their morbidly obese. Hyun Soo coming to the door was completely unexpected the first time I watched it. I don't know how realistic it is for coma patients but I assume that his body is healed but it's become dependent on the machine and just needed a jumpstart to either wake up or die. I'm happy that you called it but it is kinda cliche for the coma patient introduced in the beginning of the show to wake up at some point. Kinda like Chekhov's coma patient :) From now on I will only refer to the real Baek Hee Sung as Hee Sung and Do Hyun Soo as Hyun Soo to ovoid confusion. I've been resisting leaving comments in every episode as to not hint towards anything but I couldn't resist this episode. It's just so good. This is the reaction I look forward to the most each week.
