POLL: Vote for the next VARITETY SHOW
Added 2024-06-20 06:55:14 +0000 UTCHey guys, so here are the options based on your suggestions, as mentioned in the previous post, if a show has multiple seasons we will ONLY check out a specific season to keep things fresh and not hold ourselves to one show for a very long time.
I made a few exceptions like tripleS Badge War, there are 2 seasons but only 8 episodes in total, and by checking out 2 episodes per week we can get the entire thing done very quickly!
The other exception is to include shows that didn't meet the criteria previously (over 1:20 hours) because of how much they were suggested, so Earth Arcade/Sixth Sense is included!
If the poll gets super close we may get into a 2nd round!

The concept is quite original, taking several celebrities, hosts, actors and idols and putting them in the detective team. the cast has a general idea of โโwhat the show is going to be but only has a small part of the script which leaves them a good part for improvisation, something absolutely essential for the comedy side, having Kwang soo, Yu jae seok and Sejeong in the same cast will necessarily bring a lot of comic scene. for the rest real actors will play roles. The goal of our crew will be to solve different cases, thefts, robberies, murder, kidnapping and even foil the actions of a mysterious organization. if on paper it could resemble Apartment 404 all the sliders were pushed to the maximum thanks to the production of Netflix. the settings are larger, the crew travels throughout Korea and the environments are always different, cruise ship, mysterious island, village, abandoned warehouses, bunker and the entire city of Seoul will be the group's playground. this show is like a drama because it is the same format, each episode will have its own plot but all of this will be linked by a main plot which will take place over the entire season. everything has more grandeur, the action scenes are more realistic, the crime scenes are very real, and the shootouts and explosions resemble what we saw in dramas. apart from Busted, only Girl high school mystery has the same quality of writing and a fairly high level of investigation.

2024-06-20 11:26:07 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if the comment was deleted by accident but I was notified and it's not here anymore, anyway, there was a valid question/suggestion and that is to react to whatever the top 5 shows that get the most votes. It's a very good suggestion, however, based on how many new people join every month I think that it would be unfair to take their votes away from them, because we would already have our 3-5 shows selected, by having a new poll every show it gives everyone a chance to not only vote for a different show but to also suggest their favorites :) Plus, by the time we get to our 3rd show out of the top 5, maybe a new show gets released that everyone suddenly wants us to watch, so for that reason I'd like to keep the poll going every show and have only 1 winner :)
