SNSD – Into The New World - They called themselves Alice? Like the actual girl group that just disbanded? - Gorgeous performance! Can you believe that there are people out there who want to claim that Yunjin is a bad vocalist? - Damn Chaewon! Fitz and The Tantrums – HandClap - I know this song from well before my Kpop time :D - I'm with Aoi, I don't see a sexy theme working for this particular song. - Final result was nice. I feel like I need to see a full cam version without any editing to properly appreciate it but what I saw here was pretty good. - Aoi last place? That doesn't add up for me. BTS – The Truth Untold - Mnet, don't try any bullshit with Gyuri again. - “All I remember about her is that she made 2 mistakes” YEAH AND WHOSE FAULT IS THAT, MNET?? WHO WERE THE ONES THAT DEEMED IT NECESSARY TO REPEAT THAT MOMENT TWELVE TIMES?? - Yes! Flawless. I hope this finally shut up the haters (the haters = Mnet) - But I will say, the stand out voices here were Miho and Saho for me. Jax Jones – Instruction - As soon as they showed every other team getting scolded, I knew they were setting them up to be praised in the evaluation. - Oh my Suyun 😳 Little Mix – Touch - Oh shit the age range in this group 😅 - They probably had the most difficult starting point with pretty much zero experience among them whatsoever. - Okay, that was really impressive. Especially considering where they came from. Amazing job! Blackpink – D4 - I get that the choreography is a big part of the original song but shouldn't the vocal team focus on the vocals first? - Overall great performance and good decision to dial back on the dance. But man, Seoyoung forgetting her lyrics is not good. - Congratulations to Chowon for getting overall 1st place in the vocal bracket! - Damn Sae! Did not see that coming. Congratulations!

I guess they haven't seen this 🤨 - What a great performance! - Lol, even in this early stage you're going back and forth between Chaewon and Yunjin being your favorite 😆 HandClap - I agree that this song doesn't lend itself well for sexy dances. In the end they still incorporated some of it and made it work, so I'm glad they found some middle ground. - I still like Choyeon very much. Great dancing too. - How I feel about these rankings? I think it's lame that they don't display the scores and only the rank. With the scores you might see that everybody was really close to each other for example. With the ranks there's always got to be someone in last place right, even if they were all great. So the system sucks imo and serves no purpose. Since only the #1 gets extra points, they could easily just announce the #1 rank and be done with it. But Mnet has got to be Mnet 😑. Do I think Aoi (pronounced as ah-oh-ee) deserved last place? No. But I wouldn't put her in top 3 either. She has center visuals for sure, but the drawing of attention pretty much stops there. Could it be that your electricity is not consistent? - Personally, (during the whole training) I liked the other girls' (Miyu, Miho) voices better than Gyuri's. Gyuri's voice is quite breathy and a bit thin (maybe better for R&B or sexy), while the others were more clear and stronger. Not saying one is better than the other, just personal preference. - Damn, the start of that song is quite a low range. - They did well, but it's not my fav. Instruction - Chiyori would be great at charades 😅 - I may have said this before but I REALLY dislike the type of comments the trainers are making. Of course, it may very well be editing that only those type of comments are shown, but all these comments aren't constructive or helpful at all imo. "I thought you'd be better", "there's nothing to look at", "you should dance well, what's this?". Even when they are positive they could have pointed out things that were (especially) good, but it's just "you are good", "you all did great". Because all these comments are so frigging generic, it kinda discredits the skill of these trainers imo. - Nice performance. Yeah, nice distribution of parts: everybody got seen 👍 Touch - Is this gonna be the cutest version of this song? 😅 - "I liked that you did your hair like this, but move a little more like this". Thank you. More of these constructive comments please 🙏 - Was that 4 or 5 repeats? I lost count 😬 - Yep, they made it work, but not my fav performance though. - Minju #1?? 😧 I actually watched her closely and I think I would've put her at 4 or last. She still lacked confidence, passion and energy. Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du - "You sing and dance great" says the higher ranks to the lower rank 😅 - Weird that they have to pick a center because BP doesn't really have one. - Knowing how much fun Juri can be, I'm a little sad she doesn't seem to say much here. - First I thought that with a song like this, you can't really stand still, because it's so upbeat. So it made sense to have some choreo in it. But when I heard the rearrangement, that went out the window 😬 - Oh? That was just a piano rearrangement then? While the actual rearrangement is rock? I'm confused now. - Why did it say "Vivian" during Juri's part? - I don't know, but I didn't like this performance. It all sounded and looked messy to me. It had some good moments, like Juri's vocals, Vivian's slower part, and some of Doah, but overall it was too try-hard for me, and didn't feel like a team either. Rankings - Overall I agree that the vocals were better than the dancing in this round (vocals higher scores than dancing) - I don't have problems with the vocal rankings. - But Sae first place in dancing?? Wtf? I hadn't even noticed her tbh. So yeah, don't agree with this one. - Don't tell me she got that score just because of her "do you want to be mine?" intro...

Especially the fact that Nako was one of the most popular trainee at the moment, made the degree of criticism worse. Surely Yunjin had a hard-hard time back then, she even tried to quit everything about kpop industry. I'm glad she got through it all. And all these difficult situation she went through and the experience of overcoming them is revealed in her own song, Raise y_our glass. Also this "Telling mе to hide my desire, that’s wеird. Doing like I'm humble, that's done" Yunjin's part of FEARLESS also indicate that (anti-fans of Yunjin used to call her "Huh-desire").

Sakura, Miho, Nako, Miyu, Miu, Juri, Hitomi, Miru, Sae and Moe often changed rankings and several of them even reached the top 12 which made the show very interesting because any of them was considered to reach the final line up.

2024-06-07 13:41:49 +0000 UTCyes the ranking was unfair with Eun-young but as you said yourself DG at that moment many spectators did not know what importance she had in the construction of the performance and that Minju was placed number 1 does not really make sense because she didn't shine during the performance the only place I think is right is that of Hitomi who for me is number 2. but it is true that during the performance Eun-young didn't have a strong moment either. It is obvious that the editing did everything to highlight girls like Miu or Hitomi who gave a very good performance. my personal ranking for this performance is 1 Miu, 2 Hitomi, 3 Eunyoung, 4 yoojung, 5 Minju even if I like Minju. the worst is that this puts Minju in an uncomfortable situation; she knows that this place is not hers; in my opinion she would have been very happy to be 3rd. This would have boosted her to improve and she wouldn't feel bad for the others. -D4 team I'm a little biased towards Sakura, Juri and Do-ha, I only saw these 3 during the performance. for the first time this season I found that in a group certain members were a bit invisible. yes I agree with you DG I don't understand why they chose D4 for a vocal position??? they would have chosen STAY it would have made more sense. For me it was the worst performance of this round. not because the performance was bad but because vocally every other performance was excellent. the level was so high in this round that the D4 team seemed below even if they performed well. I really liked the Rock version for me Juri and Sakura were the best. I found Vivian quite good since she is the girl who I find least suited to the concept of blackpink. Seo-young has actually lost the thread and it's misleading on the lyrics. she has a lot of trouble as a leader and since the start of the show where she was presented to us as a YG trainee she has continued to disappoint the fans. as I often say, it is never very good to sit in seat number 1 at the start of the show because afterwards a lot of people will be waiting for you around the corner. the ranking was quite fair I agree with the top 3 even if we can interchange the 3 girls. - at the end this round was really very good in terms of quality all the performances were very good I would have a hard time saying who is number 1 among the singers because they were all exceptional. for the dance position I was also for Eunbi and Miru. but I wasn't surprised to see Sae walk past. because Sae had a lot of fans in the room that evening. - very very good round. happy to see this show again and again, I never get tired of it.

This team is quite strong. Nako and Yunjin are very good vocalists, Chaewon too and Goto Moe was one of the most popular Japanese singers. frankly yunjin and Nako deserved to be center. people really appreciated Nako's very mature behavior. who at this point in the show was very well placed in the top 12. This only increased its popularity. Yunjin was also highlighted well even if I understand that she felt bad about taking Nako's place. the song is legendary so the performance had every chance of being so too and their harmony was perfect. another nugget from this season. and to say that there are still people who say that the members of Lesserafim do not know how to sing live. all because of a bad performance at coachella. Their individual ranking was fair. Erii couldn't have hoped for better than last place and Moe 4th. on the other hand we can easily change the 3 first place because Chaewon, Nako and Yunjin were phenomenal. - Handclap team Cho-yeon becoming the leader was quite obvious since the group is mainly Japanese and they have very little experience in dancing. This performance amused me a lot at the time, I was curious to see how Cho-yeon would handle it. my opinion on the "concept" was between the 2 I also think that Cho-yeon wanted to be too sexy and that Aoi wanted more of a cheerful and cute Japanese style. for me Handclap must be powerful and charismatic. What I was curious to see was if Cho-yeon could adapt with a group mainly made up of Japanese people who don't see dance the same way as her. I was in the audience at that time and the crowd was crazy about Murasae Sae in this performance. which completely overshadowed AOI I was literally surrounded by panel which supported Sae. so no surprise for me. From my perspective in the audience I didn't see Aoi performing very well and I think I wasn't the only one. -The truth untold team Gyuri's talent is obvious, she won her place in Fromis 9 by winning a survival show "idol school" and already at the time she had reached the line up of the group thanks to her voice. Gyuri's problem is her lack of self-confidence. and indeed she is slower than the others in learning choreography for example. This is what pushes her to participate in produce 48 and put herself in danger. This kind of comment is just stupid and baseless. and this only affects her confidence even more. of course she made a mistake and so??? even idols super renowned for their incredible voices have made mistakes live, Wendy, Hyolin, Bada, Yunjin, Jimin, Jin, Teamin, Eunkwang yet they are fabulous vocalists. to come back to this group they have 3 very good singers Gyuri but also Miyu and Miho who are very discreet in the show but in truth incredibly popular. This season is full of very good vocal performances. and Gyu-ri is despite herself still pushed to be the center, poor thing. and once again this shows the maturity and the incredible evolution of the Japanese idols Miyu and Miho who at this moment would certainly like to be the center pushes Gyuri to this excess. because if she gives up now her confidence will be destroyed and it will be very hard for her to bounce back. This performance was incredible like the others, I had chills. very good harmony and the girls were right to support Gyuri she was perfect. - Team instruction another incredible performance I knew that Eunchae and Ha-eun were very good dancers but I was surprised by Chiyori who is really a cartoon character. She is very funny but she has made incredible progress in dancing. the power of the Leftovers. They all shine at one point during the performance. frankly very hard to say who most deserves to be first. for me it would be Eunchae or Suyun - Touch team Miu looks too much like Kazhua in this performance and I honestly love Hitomi. Hitomi is the best Japanese dancer by far. Eunyoung was put in a very difficult position given the young age of these members. but for me she is part of the top 3 best leader of the season with Kaeun and Eunbi. Many idols have been compared to Tzuyu but Minju is the one who resembles her the most not only physically but also in her personality. MIU's intro and the ad that followed really helped this group. the focus on Miu's intro was very well played in my opinion and Eun-young choreographed the song very well, she made an ultra sexy choreo more charismatic and powerful. and the Sexy touch was just at the intro and at the end with the splits.
