Added 2024-04-17 09:57:05 +0000 UTCHey guys, so I mentioned this a few times in our Produce 101 reactions that the next poll is going to be more condensed and only include a handful of options, shows that I am personally very intrigued by, plus, I have a feeling that there might be a strong push for one particular show that has been doing well in many polls, but never got the win, it might be time that show to win, but who knows ๐
The poll will end on Thursday next week and we'll be starting our reactions to the winner next Friday, this coming Friday we will not have a Survival Show reaction.

I think Produce48 would be the best choice for now bc there are SOOOO many idols that came from that show that are still popular today so it's really cool to see where they all started, however I would still love to see your reaction to Enhypen's ILAND in the future because it is very different from the typical Mnet survival show concept (although the evil editing is still very much there lol)

2024-04-17 20:04:47 +0000 UTCI was surprised when you first mentioned "Girls Re:verse" and that you were even considering it as an option. And now it's even in a poll! ๐ I'm very glad about that, but it did surprise me. Because when I think about my fellow kpop enthusiasts, not many of them have watched this show. Granted, they don't watch many shows at all, but still, they weren't even tempted. And I get that. It's a show like no other, that takes a bit of getting used to. So, I'm not sure who or what is responsible for making you consider it, but I'm thankful ๐. But even if I would love for you to react to this (and for me to rewatch it), I do feel the need to inform you about it so you can make a fair judgement: About GIRLS RE:VERSE: - the entire show is (almost) all 3D animated. And the graphics are definitely not on par with what we are used to these days (like games, aespa or MAVE stuff, etc.). So, it will probably take a few episodes to get used to that. Also expect some bugs (which can also be hilarious). - the show is very chill. And by that I mean the pacing as well as everybody's interaction/attitude. They are all experienced hosts and idols, and there isn't any rush. - the cast is INSANE: 30 (ex)idols, quite similar to Queendom Puzzle. I wanted to list all of them here, but you might not want to know. There's 2 ways to watch this show: 1. Without knowing who's part of the show, which let's you figure it out for yourself. 2. With knowing who's part of the show and also which character is voiced/played by which idol. I would definitely recommend #2, and even then it still will be a HUGE task to learn and remember who's who. That's why I would also recommend creating/printing a list of who's who. - but, if you are ready to accept the graphics and have the patience/perseverance to learn A LOT of character names and who's playing them, then this show WILL bring you a LOT OF FUN (idols trolling each other, and overal just talk to each other much more easily), great VOCAL performances, no endlessly drawnout eliminations, and overall chill vibes.

2024-04-17 10:55:56 +0000 UTCI'm a simp of the groups produce I love IZ*ONE as much than I.O.I and Wanna one so to me produce 101 season 2 or produce 48 would be very cool. if I had to follow logic I would say that season 2 of produce would be more relevant because it is simply the continuation of season 1 and that this would avoid spoilers for produce 48 more SOMI and Chungha make appearances in season 2 . In addition, they may have alternated between a female survival show and a male survival show. but I still voted for produce 48 because for YOU DG this season will perhaps have more impact because many idols that you know and love are in this show.

2024-04-17 10:49:14 +0000 UTCI've never watched Produce 48 so it'd be fun checking it out together. Girl's Reverse is the most unserious survival there is that makes you laugh hard and mixnine is a whole lot of history that shows where so many idols were at one point

Tbh, I don't know how to feel about potentially doing two seasons of Produce back to back and also skipping over season 2 to move straight to season 3. Yes, IZ*ONE is amazing and so are all the following groups and artists. But consider this: PD101S2 is the show that introduced Kang Daniel to the world! Plus idols from groups like AB6IX, The Boyz, Tempest, CIX, Nuest, Oneus and many others!
