Oh by the way the movie is called Terrifier, and the clown is Art the Clown, and there's 3 movies.

Enjoyed your reactions as always and I'm fine with all the honesty and comments about the technicalities. You also made me wanna watch that clown movie, it seems interesting. I love horror and gory movies. Motak seemed to be more goofy and Hana more feisty this season and I'm loving it. The villains in this season seemed like textbook villains and honestly I like it because theyre more intense and direct to the point.

- I don't think you're overreacting DG, you're just giving your opinion on an episode and some are better than others, that's all. but I agree that sometimes you focus too much on technical details or aspects of the show that are not too important to people. maybe you are passionate about making films and you have training that allows you to see things that most of us don't see like cuts. Personally, I know nothing about it and nothing shocks or bothers me in the production of the episodes of Uncanny Counter. but obviously this often takes you out of the series not only of Uncanny Counter but also of Hotle de Luna and of all the dramas to which you have reacted, you seem to pay a lot of importance to the camera angle, to the technique, the light, the special effects etc... and that's ok for us because most of us don't have this vision but it seems to annoy you. even if in general you appreciate all these series for the actors, the action or even the story. - this is going to be the very special aspect of this season on the one hand Jeok bong will bring freshness and comedy to the series and on the other hand MR Ma Ju-seok's life will become hell. the villains of the series increase in power and cruelty. The character of Ju-seok is my favorite of the season, his development is incredible, I felt a lot of pain and empathy for this character. - currently in certain countries and certain cultures a baby has no spirit or even legal existence until it is born. in France for example last year a celebrity on drugs had a car accident and one of the passengers was a pregnant woman she lost her baby. When the driver was judged, French justice did not condemn him for the death of the baby because he had no legal existence. in Korea, on the other hand, it is believed that your life begins on your first day in your mother's womb. and when you were born you were already 9 months old, that's why until last year the age of Koreans was different from the international age. a Korean who is 18 years old is in reality in our tradition 19 years old (we adjust the age by giving 1 year more not 9 months) so yes to answer your question DG for us babies have a soul. - Rest assured DG the villains are super interesting, some are just pure bad people and just act in a stupid and cruel way. but some villains work very well their actions have a goal, from their point of view some are not villains but vigilantes or at least people with feelings.

- nice to see Mun's friends again, also being a little older. - the Pick Me, Pick Me is addicting isn't it? 😏 Don't worry, we've all done it. - yeah, that was a really weird cut. - who on earth saves someone by frontkicking them? so weird. - so, are we getting a counter now who is gonna talk about cow poop all the time? 😬 - oh, will this good guy fireman Ju-seok become possessed by an evil spirit then maybe? πŸ€” - you might laugh during horror movies, to me they affect me psychologically. So, don't mind me muting you for a minute there 😬 - apart from it being sadistic, it might have also served the purpose of limit-checking what their new-found powers can do. Or serve as training for their new-found powers. - "it's a level 3. as strong as Cheong Sin". And what do we do? Split up and go in all by yourself 🫣 Seriously? And this is Hana, the one who taught Somun to keep a clear head / not act emotionally? - Lol, why distract the guard in such a convoluted way πŸ˜… Motak is also a police officer right? Couldn't he just flash his badge? Oh well, it worked and it was funny I guess. - yeah, I was also really expecting the evil leader guy (Hwang) to notice Hana in the memory. - so, nobody questions why the evil spirits came to Korea right after they killed the Chinese counters? - these yellow kid outfits are always so cute ☺️ - wow, direct confrontation so soon? Also, how did he know that the Counters are in that noodle shop? - "if you want to critique this episode, feel free to do so". Thanks for that reassurance. I don't want to be the always negative nancy though, so I'll try to keep the critiques to a minimum. So let's just say that, based on what we've seen so far, which is only 2 eps, so plenty of time to improve, but if I would rate season 1, I'd give it like a 8.5. And if I'd rate this season so far, it would be like a 6 or 6.5. Just my opinion, and it might very well change. As for why: - The story/script seems very ... πŸ€” unpolished? Well maybe not the story, because I like that we're going international (even if it's still very minimal so far), and I think it's good and logical to get more counters. But the way all the dialogues go, as well as the acting, just seems so... off/cheap. - The quality of the special effects are also more often unimpressive than impressive. The whole cow-level in Yung was quite obvious greenscreen. The weird cut. And that jump how Somun entered the fight was pretty bad imo. The way he held Motak was also pretty obvious wirework/unnatural, and also very unnecessary and uncharacteristic. Would the Motak we know be held like that? For so long? Does he let Somun walk all over him now that Somun is stronger? I get that it was for comedic purposes, but again, it all seems so forced. Okay, I'm gonna stop now. Sorry for the negativity.

- Oh. OH? - You know, it gets weirder when you consider that Ung-nim's actor is 31 while Ju-yeon's actress is merely 16 😬 - Okay Mo-tak, we get it. We're all very proud. - Oh no, cringe 🀠 - Oh christ, please tell me THAT's not our new counter πŸ’€ - Well yes, this could have been avoided if she had just not forgotten her phone. And also tell him more directly that she's not interested. - Gotta love a fair justice system! - Oh, they're here! Hello new friends! - Shit. - Well, if nothing else it will be very entertaining to watch the new counter and the new spirit try to get along πŸ˜… - Okay, Mo-tak is just as big of a dork so I guess the new guy will fit right in. - Jeok-bong, hands off. Ha-na is taken. Don't even try to think about trying anything. - The way you're describing this clown is kinda reminding me of Torchwood season 4. The entire season revolves around an event known as β€žMiracle Dayβ€œ on which all people on earth lost the ability to die. No matter what happened to them, no one would ever die. In the first episode we see a victim of an explosion that hit him point blank. He completely burned, melted skin, exposed and missing organs, a giant gaping hole in his skull with part of the brain gone. He wasn't able to talk anymore but still alive. One researcher dealing with this proceeded to sever his head from the body and he continued to move his eyes and look at the people in the room, showing signs that he was very much conscious and aware of his situation. Burned, melted even and his head severed. But alive. - Where the fuck is So Mun when you need him?? - About damn time. - These evil spirits must die. I mean, that was obvious from the get go but fucking hell. - Hwang in the house! This should be interesting.
