2024-07-13 18:23:44 +0000 UTCYes, all of the videos that didn't work that I mentioned did end up working after a bit, it takes a VERY long time to load, so it's most definitely a Patreon bug or something, a few days ago all of the posts on the Patreon suddenly disappeared, which gave me a near heart attack but after a bit it all worked just fine, so I hope the same thing happens here! I'm sorry it's a hassle to get into the videos at this moment π I did start to re-upload episode 1 before realizing the problem, so this reaction should be back on in 10 minutes or so :)

That's definitely a factor to consider. Maybe once HMLYCP is done, you could just make a poll with each season of Going Seventeen, and you then check out the most popular season? I think it would be a good way to get into the show. Yeah, I love the chemistry of this group. Time really flies when watching them, right? Oof, a bit of an IOI spoiler there. A bit unfortunate, but the camera seems to have focused on the members you already knew made it so I hope not too much damage has been done. I'm glad you've enjoyed the first episode, it's definitely gonna get even better over time and with Yena!

2024-03-29 02:27:20 +0000 UTCI absolutely ADORE Mamamoo. They're my fourth favourite Kpop group of all time. But Mamamoo TV is just so much. I did try to keep up with your reactions for a while but eventually I fell further and further behind and decided to stop watching. Not because your reactions got worse or anything like that. It was only because I have a limited amount of time on my hands and I can only consume so much Kpop content at any given time. This is why I generally don't watch variety. My main focus is on the music. I listen to everything by everyone in this genre. Every single MV, every single album. And catching up on established artists from before I got into Kpop. That alone takes a lot of time. I simply cannot commit any time to a long form group variety show. This is also why I haven't watched any of your Patreon content on BTS, Blackpink, Twice, Stray Kids, Ateez, etc. But I'm always down for a survival show and the occasional episode of a rotational show with different guests every week. Short form limited shows like Dreamcatcher Mind are also totally fine. This is why I made the suggestions that I made. tripleS Badge War has 4 episodes and a combined total runtime of two hours. I can watch that in one sitting no problem. But something like Going Seventeen is just way too much for me. So I'm happy that a limited show like HyeMiLeeYeChaePa won this time :) My suggestion is, if a huge show like GoSe wins next time and people don't suggest a specific season, just do season 1 for the time being and once you finish that, go into the next poll. You could even include season 2 in that poll and if people want to continue down that path, then cool :) - Iirc Hyeri has her own talk show and Jennie was a guest on there one time. Maybe that's where you saw her? - Oh yeah, I'd be installing curtains on these windows immediately if I moved in there. I really don't like people being able to look in from the outside. - Damn, no toilet paper? We have a show here in Germany where they put c-list celebrities in the jungle and they also have to earn all their stuff through challenges and what not. And Vibe is an R&B duo that debuted in 2002. - I can immediately think of two iconic songs that use the βSeventeen right hereβ tagline. One is Super and the other one is Clap. And the one in Super sounds quite different so I got that really fast :D - Oh? Potential PD101 spoilers right there? - But Miyeon... Very Very Very and Ring Ding Dong have totally different tempos, how is that supposed to work? - Damn, they were prepared with that chair. - Wow. I know Mommae by Jay Park. Heard it many times, even live, but I would never have guessed it from a single bonk sound. - Oh, Chaewon just completely broke your Blink heart right there. This is a super fun show, very excited to see more!

I'm very glad this won and I'm super excited to watch it again with you! Seventeen's show like MMTV has way too many episodes. You should maybe put a disclaimer in the next poll that it'll only be 1 season of whatever show wins. At least this show will be over in 3 months and we can have another poll it feels like it's been years of MMTV. I did stop watching MMTV after a while and only checked in for the special episodes. It was just too much of the same thing. On the format of the show, since they filmed this show every weekend the odd numbered episodes are usually the Saturday and the even are Sunday but most odd episodes will end in the middle of whatever they're doing to make you want to keep watching the next episode. Miyeon has a serious gambling problem but we'll get to that later. I can't wait for Yena's grand entrance. If you didn't know Yena and Chaewon were roommates when they were in Izone and they still hang out all of the time. I'm really not sure what makes Patricia a celebrity other than being Jonathan's brother but at least you've seen Jonathan before. She's still playing the foreigner card but she's lived and went to scthool in Korea since she was 5. There really shouldn't be any excuse for her to not know Korean. She is hilarious though. As someone who is practically nocturnal I really didn't mind that they took the lights. Like the girls said if there's no lights then there's no footage. That's the production's problem :) Taking the toilet paper was savage. They spent all their cash before noticing. I've said it before but this is actually a survival show in the literal sense of the word. I'm glad you enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to next week already! Loved the reaction as always!

I have rarely had so much fun watching a variety show. the casting is just perfect and was made to get along. - yes DG you know Hyeri you see her with Rose in knowing bros. Hyeri is the youngest member of the group Girls Day, one of my favorite 2nd gen groups. They have an incredible vocal line and a discography that is absolutely perfect for me. They are very versatile. -Hyeri became popular largely due to her role as Song Duk-seon in the highest rated Drama of all time Reply 1988 since she has become a very popular idol/actress since which time she has gained celebrity status very appreciated by Koreans and in particular by Idols of all generations. Hyeri has a pretty incredible number of idol friends. which is quite rare because idols don't really have the time to see or meet. This show was originally designed to allow Hyeri to see several of her friends at the same time in a TV show. - DG you already know Miyeon, Chaewon, Yena and Lee jung (who are absolutely incredible) - Patricia is a You tuber who is becoming more and more popular in Korea, she and her brother Johnathan are originally from the Congo but arrived very young in South Korea since her and her brother have become friends with several idols they are absolutely hilarious. - Yes me too DG i'am not a fan of big window's, I am not a fan of light or sun in general my shutters are closed. HYEMILEEYECHAEPA are the first letter of the first name of each girl in the order of seniority HYE (Hyeri) MI (Miyeon) Lee (Lee Jung) YE (Yena) CHAE (Chaewon) PA (Patricia) - I love the concept of this show, they arrive in an empty house and over the weeks they will have to play games and complete missions in order to create the house of their dreams - yes the chemistry between the girls is incredible honestly there isn't a moment where they aren't smiling. the producers are also having a good time it will be quite common during the show for the production team to burst out laughing following the girls' actions. - and yes chance does things well I.O.I have had their biggest successes thanks to a song produced by JYP the short passage of Very very has not spoiled too much DG have track especially Chungha and Somi. - yes Full moon was covered in produce by Sohye, Pinky and Chaeyeon - Irony was also covered in produce. - it's only the beginning Yena has not yet arrived when the duo Yena X Chaewon will be in the place this show will become chaotic and very funny.

Let's goooo! - I may or may not have mentioned this show a couple of times βΊοΈ - Don't get me wrong though, with that many votes, I'm quite curious about Going Seventeen too. And we already know they are hilarious and chaotic, so should be good. But how to go about it is indeed tricky. Doing just season 1 for starters sounds good to me. Doing the same for more groups and then do a poll might yield more meaningful votes. - I found that the name of the show is much easier to remember (and pronounce) when done in 2 parts: - HyeMiLee (HeMeeLee) - YeChaePa (YeChePa) - You know Hyeri from at least 1 episode of Hyell's Kitchen. She's from the group Girl's Day which was one of the most popular groups in 2nd gen. - "You'll have everything you need in the house" π The producers are such trolls, I love it. - This game they play in the evening where they have to guess the songs will come back quite a few times. It's both hilarious and might expand your kpop knowledge even further. Also, since you already know quite a lot of kpop, you will find yourself also participating a little, like you did already, which makes it even more fun π - We still got a bit of SEVENTEEN - "I love the chemistry between the girls and how chill the producers are". Exactly! You nailed it. And it will only get better π - I like that you already caught a lot of their inner jokes / chemistry / character traits. Like: - Chaewon's blunt / direct / savage comments. She's so funny being the only introvert between all these extroverts. But all of their characters will shine more and more. - We already got a glimpse of Miyeon's all-or-nothing gambling addiction π She's just so unbelievably carefree. - Leejung's competitiveness and dancing skills - Patricia and Hyeri are just always funny - And next episode we'll have cheeky Yena added in the mix as well. Yeah, these episodes will fly by. I'm already looking forward to the next π I hope this episode lightened your migraine just a little π€
