REACTING TO KIM SEJEONG On Leemujin Service

I feel that Kim Sejeong has an old soul and I agree with her that "sincerity" is important is specific songs and music. I think in one of the shows that I saw one of the judges said something along the lines "You are lack the technique, but because of that you delivered the emotions of the song better, it sound more raw and real" But at the moment I an unable to see her without remembering the line from Business Proposal "make Samantha and Reachal sad...The one on the left is Samanrhs and the one on the right is Rachel."

As other commentary said, she is amazing in musical theater and so charming. You can look for her actual performance of two songs, "I am the one who speak about me" and "Love is like". You will enjoy it for sure.

This is what I have always felt about Sejong, not only in his music but also in his personality: a very great sincerity. that's why she's the same on stage as Idol or off camera as Sejeong. she is sincere and I feel it in her more than in any other idol. of course technically she has a very beautiful voice, a beautiful tone, a very solid vibrato and good control of her breathing but several idols are also very talented in the technical field. but Sejeong is among the best when it comes to performing a song. she manages to convey these emotions with great intensity.

You mentioned she could go on Broadway. She actually was the lead in a musical called β€œRed Book”. She was amazing in it and got nominated for best new musical actress. You should check out some of her performances! This is her singing one of the musical songs on AKMU’s show: https://youtu.be/Um4_nwcYNec?si=mwaDYaZFcG6xM7ig

Produce 101 and Uncanny Counter wasn't enough Sejeong for you? I can't say I blame you. Every time I hear Sejeong sing I always think that she is an "old soul". The way she puts emotion in her singing, often sounding a bit sorrowful, like someone who's been through a lot or carries a heavy burden. Sincerity! I agree with her. Let it go originally sounded hopeful, bright, passionate. Sejeong's version gave me a little bit different vibes though, while still killing it of course. Hmm I'm not sure if her translation of the title is entirely accurate 😬 "Let it go" and "Let's go" are 2 very different things. And again, "old soul" vibes πŸ˜… Yeah, that song really takes you somewhere. What a great voice and agility. My mind also immediately went to Macaulay Culkin πŸ˜… I'm not sure if it's "starstruck", but I agree that Sejeong seemed to have left a bigger impression on Mujin than other guests. And I suspect it's not even because of her great vocals, but more because of her view on life / her life experience / wisdom. Sung on Queendom Puzzle? Damn, your memory is great. I can't with "Dohwa" though, she'll always be Chanmi to me πŸ˜‹ Ok, now that I hear the song, I also immediately remember the Queendom Puzzle performance πŸ˜… Yeah, those last highnotes were awesome. I always feel weird when explaining what I like about certain voices: "I love it when women cry or scream" 😬 See what I mean?
