I did this under your Girls Planet 999 videos as well so why not continue that here? #62: Kim Dajeong left her original company Hello Music and proceeded to debut in the girl group Hashtag on 11 October 2017. But I can remind you again when we get to the finale. - Wat. Why are we including flu shots in this show? Jang Keun-suk seems like a genuinely decent man here. He was probably just portrayed in a weird way in those first few episodes. This was a surprisingly breezy elimination episode. If only it could have stayed like this.

2024-02-25 21:58:37 +0000 UTCI'm curious if you were considering reacting to the I-Land season 2 survival show that starts in April (assuming it doesn't get pushed again). I think you'd really like it. IF it's the same as I-Land season 1 it'll be much longer before eliminations with fewer trainees so you'll get to see their potential much more before elimations starts if that's the case. The last one made one of the big boy groups (not naming in case you haven't been spoiled yet and might watch it someday - you'll probably be able to guess if you start watching anyway though) It's for a girl group this season. They've spent the last 3-4 years picking who is participating for the trainees. And had 2 or 3 different global auditions for the program. Just saying haha. I know it'll either get voted on in a poll or not but making sure it was on your radar.

However, tricking the trainees into thinking that they or their company owes mnet $30,000 is more of a prank than a test of character in my opinion. If it was just supposed to be a test of character they could have stopped once the contestants covered for the staff. I always enjoy reading your comments after every episode and you made me laugh with the pygmee thing!

2024-02-23 02:57:50 +0000 UTC-I'm not sure why they have an elimination episode commentator panel but Kara's Young-ji is there so I'm happy -Yes, Gaeul like Ive's Gaeul :) You finally got it! -Yeah, now we all finally see Elly is here! -The location does remind me of a quaint European town. The contestants aren't stressed enough with the upcoming elimination so they had to pull a hidden camera prank on them? Not to mention almost every trainee is already in debt. I didn't think it was very funny to make them think they are going to have to pay $30,000 and possibly get kicked off of the show or fired by their company for this. Maybe they could have tried another type of prank that wouldn't put them into even more crippling debt. Although I don't think this show needed pranks at all. -Wait is Billlie's Kim Suhyeon here?! -Lol DG we all know Sejeong is your #1 visual -Watching Sejeong actually get 1st place was worth sitting through this whole episode :) also she said thanks to her mom and brother. Oppa is brother and Appa is Dad -Haha it's just like watching the end of the Return of the King. There's so many fake endings. -You have my blessing to watch all future elimination episodes on a higher speed. I'm not really a fan of Sohye at this point but she is easily likeable. I appreciate her hard work and I don't really care about the mistake in the performance. I know how everyone loves a good underdog story but I just don't think she's there yet based on skill. She still has a lot of improvement to do before I would put her in my top 11. I do think her getting helped by Sejeong is doing great things for both of their popularity. Kinda reminds me of some of the pairs that formed during QP Like Yeonhee and Seoyeon or Dohwa and Fye. Definitely deserves the award for most improved. I can't argue with that. Overall a mostly quick and painless elimination episode. If we forget about mnet trying to traumatize the contestants with that prank. Also I think this is the first episode in the past several where we didn't end it incredibly annoyed/pissed off at mnet so that's nice :)

Yes, bcs she was never an idol trainee, she was a trainee to be an actress, got set up by her company, worked hard and actually got the skills to be at leas the bare minimum idols (yea shes not the best, but she actually have some nice stage presence). So happy that yeunjung got recognition and move up from 63 to 12. I didnt even aware of chunghaโs presence up until the next evaluation ๐ฉ I was a voter during this show, my picks are sejeong, yeunjung, chaeyeon, somi those who i can remember of ๐

2024-02-22 20:31:15 +0000 UTCLOL crispy in fact it's not MNET which pushed the narrative of the rivalry between Somi and Sejeong . but kpop fans at the time thought that the two girls didn't like each other. on Kakaotalk the fans were discussing this from the haters of the 2 girls, this narrative was spreading according to which the two girls were jealous of each other. This had an impact and which got to the ear of Sejeong who quickly did so to silence the rumor. At the time, almost 6 millions people voted for the different girls from the show, unheard of at the time. which means that probably several million other people were watching the show in a less invested way. So obviously every little tension or animosity between the girls was scrutinized by millions of fans. Somi and Sejeong were the center of public attention Sejeong thanks to her personality and Somi because of her unfair elimination of Sixteen. for once Mnet had nothing to do with it at the time it wasn't yet creating a false narrative to create drama. it served as an existing rivalry like the rivalry between the 2 Kpop star finalists, โ

And here we get.... flu shots, publishing their weights and body shaming comments? ๐คง The trainer even touching the girls to check was really disgusting to me. The girls aren't cattle ๐คฎ - "Do you think you'll survive to the end?" Eunwoo: "Yes!" ๐ I really loved this. The host trying to build tension, ppl getting nervous, and then this girl comes in, and suddenly all the tension is gone ๐. It reminds me of Naruto during his ninja exam. - "Gaeul, like IVE's Gaeul?" Yep. "Why do I struggle with that name?", don't worry, EVERY reactor seems to struggle with it ๐ . You actually did fine though: Ga-l (definitely not Ga-ool). I didn't perceive them as "pranks", but more as "tests of character", which, tbf, IS part of being an idol imo. To go as far as to make them cry, I totally agree with you. That's not ok. It is actually such a big coincidence that you would mention this topic for this group ๐ because, in my opinion, one of the worst pranks I've seen pulled on idols was actually on I.O.I. And it was even done by the members themselves. It was on Knowing Bros. A bit similar to Twice Yeonjeong's prank there, but worse.

The kpop community talked a lot about Sohye and started a very interesting discussion about people's vision of what an idol should be. someone who even though she lacks innate talent or disposition works very hard and progresses over time or someone who is naturally talented and born to be an idol. Does Korean society encourage merit or only give chances to people who are naturally predisposed? -10th Jeon Soyeon who is surprised ???? not me even before she became the immense idol that we know her to be. I had presented its potential. being ranked 10th despite criticism of his physique at the time was impressive. Soyeon haters at the time must be hiding in a hole. - 9th Kim Nayoung like all the Jellyfish interns I was in love with her, her personality and her deserved ranking path. - 8 th Kim Chaeyeon very discreet but clearly born to be an idol not only thanks to her obvious beauty but also thanks to her personality and humility. -7th Kim Dani not very surprised at the time because Dani had been considered to join T-ara a very very popular 2nd generation group Dani's position was very similar to that of Chanmi who was to join SNSD. Dani had the same kind of pressure . -6th Cathy not surprised at the time she was a very good leader just like the group Dia and seeing 2 members of the group DIA in the final line up would not have been a surprise to anyone. - 5th Kang Mina no surprise for me at the time I was convinced that the 3 girls from Jellyfish would be part of the final line up. the joy and confidence of these girls amazed all the viewers. - 4th Pinky yes DG for me also the last place was no doubt Pinky was very very very popular. but like all popular girls she received a lot of stupid and hateful comments. it was like Somi about her origins. Chinese in kpop was not popular back then but now it is better. for me there was no doubt and she has a lot of talent. -3rd Choi Yoojung yes she made Produce 101 popular with the public after her performance as the center of the PICK ME performance at MCOUNTDOWN. As I said, all the idols who are the center for the theme song of the season have a very good chance of ending up in the final line up. -2nd Jeon Somi yes DG you are right at this level they will all be in the same group so it doesn't matter the ranking. but for me it is above all a huge middle finger to JYP who puts her aside under the pretext of her young age. JYP ruined the start of Somi's career with his lack of ambition and project for her, he took her from survival to temporary group survival to another. While she had precisely what he said, she was looking for what some called the X FACTOR. She didn't succeed only thanks to a very big fan base but also her talent, nowadays she sings, raps but she is also a very good dancer, she writes her lyrics and produces these MVs with Teddy? If only I.O.I had been a permanent group, I have no doubt that the group would be one of the most popular in history, at least as popular as IZ*ONE was. - 1th Kim Sejeong probably my favorite idol in the history of kpop. the first in my ultimate bias list. I have only compliments to give her she is my idealized vision of what an idol should be for me, talented and sincere she is off camera as she is in front. she does not play a role to suit the image of an idol, she is natural. the rest of the season will have no surprises regarding the 2 first place it will be played between Sejeong and Somi no one will ever worry them. - if I had to play the top 10 visual games I would say that there is Sejeong, Somi, Pinky, Doyeon, Chaeyeon, Chungha, Eunbean, Nayoung (pledis), Kang mina, and Siwon

2024-02-22 14:28:10 +0000 UTCYes Dg you made a somewhat hasty judgment about JKS but I must admit that in the first episode he was very clumsy. - the elimination episodes of the produce series are better than in the other survival ones for me, there are lots of quite amusing and fun videos in these episodes to ease the tension a bit. There are also commentators, something that is not found in other survival games. In 2015 we had a very big flu epidemic so that may explain this. - LOL yes you are right the idols who participated in survival shows and who had to rehearse and perform the same theme song hundreds of times must hate this song at a certain point. Fortunately Mina, Gahyeon or Hwasa are not too impacted by this kind of comments and are happy to ignore them or make a point.
