Seungmin was just joking. You can see that his English is perfect in interviews and maniac world tour ments. People get it wrong because he makes jokes with so serious face.

I watched a reactor one time and could hear someone in the background cooking dinner and the light was crazy bright. It was hard to focus on what was being said. People don't always think about it, but the ambiance of the environment is important!
