Squid Game Episode 8 - REACTION

Squid Game Episode 8 - REACTION

Comments

It's funny that all the characters (players) tried so hard to deduce what the next game will be and it was always supposed to be such a secret, but now that all the beds are gone, you can see all the games were drawn on the wall in order. All they had to do was move their beds to see it 😅

You might not want to watch it at this time, but I would like to remind you that BIBI has a role in a K-Drama called The Worst of Evil that came out a month ago, where she plays a pretty major support role character, and the cop from Squid Game is one of the main leads. It's pretty dark and gloomy though, since it's a noir drama.

- I can already guess what the emoji is referring to. - Look at these staircases where once 456 people walked through. Now there's only three left. - And this is another reason why exploding the glass bridge was a stupid ass idea. They just severely injured a player after she already won the game for no good reason. - A steak just as bloody as these games. - It was really funny to see you deduce this twist of the Front Man being the detective's brother so early. Finally we can also talk about it in the comments :D And it seems like you recognise the actor too. - Rest in Peace to the person who imo deserved to win this the most. - And fuck you, Sang-woo. - Lee Byung-hun (who plays Hwang In-ho) is a pretty darn big actor as you already know yourself. I actually didn't really know him before this show but I saw a lot of big reactions to his reveal, especially from Koreans. - As Kyrain already said, this was Jung Hoyeon's first ever acting gig, playing Sae-byeok. How the hell do you knock it out of the park THIS much with your first time ever playing a character in a show?? Yeah, that splintered glass was such a dick move. It's also the game itself interfering with the survivors' health, and thereby interfering with their chances of winning. And according to themselves everyone should have equal chances of winning.

DG, maybe a little bit of light after this dark episode: It was the first (!!! if you can believe it) acting gig for Jung Hoyeon (Sae-byeok). She was Koreas Model of the Year in 2017, but this show took her from 410k Instagramm followers to 20.2 Mio. (https://www.instagram.com/hoooooyeony) She was an absolute delight on their world wide press tour and has several acting jobs lined up for 2024. Also she kinda friends with Jennie since way before Squid Game😁 https://www.instagram.com/p/CUSi2lQBCoY

the discussion between Sangwoo and Gi-hun at the beginning of the episode is very interesting. The thing is that the arguments of both are both relevant and true, no one is right or wrong. yes Sangwoo behaved like a traitor towards Ali to save his skin but Gi-hun did the same with Ilnam. so yes some will say that Gi-hun had remorse while Sangwoo seems to have lost his humanity to survive. but what he says is true if he wants to get out of here alive he's going to have to kill or let everyone die. and deep down Gi-hun knows it very well. but Gi-Hun is right too he didn't need to kill Sae-byok she was going to die anyway it was at that precise moment that I knew that Sangwoo had completely flipped and that nothing would bring him back .I don't know if the series hopes that we are for Gi-hun but personally I am like you DG I was more for Saebyok to win the game. for a very simple reason Gi-hun and Sangwoo are found in this situation because they made very bad decisions in their lives which led them to be ruined. Saebyok is a North Korean refugee she has done nothing wrong and has not asked anything from anyone she is just trying to earn money to do come and live with his family in the south. I was so sad for Saebyok his death and Jihyeon's sacrifice will have served no purpose. I admit that Sangwoo deserved a big blowout. I hated him at that precise moment. Even if I think that Saebyok would not have survived anyway. I think that the series did a very good job for these characters the construction of the monster that Sangwoo became was very well done I even have a lot of empathy for he despite what he did I think (that he still has remorse but that he has gone too far to back down)

another suggestion it's not really a pure drama but a variety show and a drama call Busted in this show several celebrities like Yoo Jae suk, Kwang soo, Sejeong, Miyeon or Lee Seungi are investigators sent to crime scenes. It’s a game show and a scripted drama at the same time. there are 3 very short seasons on Netflix and it is very very very funny. with Kwang soo always know the case.

yes i said that since the beginning i think it's better if you watch the show you want to see the most . the best way is WE suggest some drama you pick amoung them 2 or 3 drama you want see the most and put them in a last poll . that way you sure to see a show you want to see . my suggestion if you want see something lighter than Suqid game but still a bit dark Uncanny counter is the best choice . because you got everything comedie , lot of action , drama of course , surnatural and a bit of thriller .
