Hi Daniel, thank you for this wonderful reaction again. However, I know that this show could be difficult to react to given the current circumstances, please take breaks when you need! Also, I had the same reaction as you when the bonnie and Clyde were doing the deed in the bathroom... Eww. I hate that guy so much too, hope he gets his retribution in the end

When I tried to find a YT link for you it gave me their performance with all kinds of comments interfering with my viewing experience. So I found a better one. Granted, 9 episodes is a lot less than the 26 episodes of my all time favourite show, Dark. - Egg and Soda. Good meal ππ» - It's a death game anyway. Why would the guards care if a fight breaks out. - Harvesting organs as a side gig. - How do you even get a piece of paper into a hard boiled egg with the shell fully intact? - So nice of the organisers to put some atmosphere on the fight with those strobe lights. - This whole scene really shows how far some of them are willing to go for money. They're not even playing a game anymore. It's just murder at this point. - Mhm. I was worried about that. Squid Game can be quite brutal, especially given the situation where you live. I hope you're gonna be fine. - Sae-byeok translates to βdawnβ. I think it's a really pretty name. - I actually looked it up, the actress Kim Joo-ryung was 43 at the time of filming. You're pretty damn close. - βFuck these guys.β Well, they are fucking alright. - One woman so the rest need to be all men? Bit sexist Sang-woo ngl - They're both crazy to be fair. Crazy messing with crazy. - In a morbid sense, Tug of War is my favourite game of the show. It's very straighforward. - Nope, this guy is gonna be burned alive. - Ali might be missing two fingers but remember how he held up Gi-hun in the first episode with just one hand? The guy is really strong. - Literal cliffhanger right there!

I can see how this may not be the best show to come back to right now, honestly, you might need to watch something more uplifting after this one is over, so I might just vote for Uncanny Counter after! π - Why else would they be preserving the organs? To sell them of course! Apparently, in the US you get $1,500 for eyeballs - I looked it up and the actress is 47 actually π - I watched the show with my mom so THAT RESTROOM scene was much more painful for me to watch - Considering the age of the old man, him forgetting the name could be a result of his dementia, but Gi Hun quickly brushed it off because he didn't want to point it out, as a courtesy - You say Ali is handicapped so he would be weak, but the show mentioned a few times now how Ali is exceptionally strong despite that, like how when he held up Gi Hun, when he tripped in the Red Light Green Light game, he did so with only one hand - A fun fact about this tug of war scene: when filming, the cast was actually pulling as if their lives depended on it, and in the BTS video you can see they finish their many takes extremely exhausted. They even said in an interview that this was the toughest scene they shot. - The actor who played this gangster Deok Su that we all hate, had to gain weight drastically to play this character, because he's supposed to be bulky and muscular, but he was scrawny due to losing weight form corona. As a result, he gained 15-17kg in a month and it was really detrimental to his health. So even though we won't ever feel bad for his character, I do feel bad for the actor. Though he did nail his role!

2023-10-24 19:18:14 +0000 UTCyes I understand the hype for Squid game even if for me there are many, many other Korean dramas as good or even better. Personally I don't understand the hype of certain American shows like Breaking Bad, I dislike this series it's one amoung thousand serie and show about drugs and dealer nothing original . but for me the great American series are Twin Peaks, Dexter, Hannibal, Game of Throne, 24h chrono, the wire, Mr robot. Squid game deserves so much success for me it is one of the 5 best Netflix series with Cobra kai, Casa de papel, Stranger thing and My name.
