Just one little thing to start: obviously I know the situation is terrible and I'm not ignoring that. But I also need a break from the constant bad news so I'm gonna watch and comment on this without bringing it up again. I need a distraction too.
- Ok so they went back to a previous rival to get help. Interesting approach.
- Unfortunate that Youngji forgot some of her lyrics but she fucking annihilated that doubletime verse at the end!
- The girl that looked familiar is Seokyoung from GWSN. Though I don't know where you would have seen her before.
- Loopy and Nafla won this in my eyes. I can see what Yunhway and Youngji were trying to do but they fumbled on the execution. Their stage felt pretty empty and I could tell that the song was trying to hype me up but it didn't quite manage to do that.
Then Nafla and Loopy come out to show them how it's done. Hype energy on point! Plus that intro and no mistakes!
- Yup, like I predicted. Even if I didn't know about Youngji's mistake, I still would have given it to Loofla.
- Damn, Rhythm Power are so desperate about their AC, I almost feel sorry for them.
- And the Mad Mommy Clown Son just has to wail on them too.
- Man, that was the most intense „who gets to go second“ I've seen on this show yet.
- Holy shit dude. Rhythm POWER. That was fucking crazy. And I love the lyrics too!
- The girls' performance once again suffers from too many damn reaction shots.
- But apart from that, OH MY GOD. Honestly, both performances were absolutely crazy. I'm completely 50/50 on this one so I'm gonna go with my personal bias and hope the Good Girls win.
- Oh shit
- Yes, A.C.E are great! They had their last release in 2021, then they all went into the military. 4/5 of them have just recently been dispatched and the last one should also get out in February so we might get new stuff from them sometime next spring.
If you want to give them a shot, their debut and first comeback (Cactus and Callin) were hardstyle. And I don't mean that „Kpop EDM“. No, actual proper hardstyle, distorted kicks and everything!
Under Cover had a bit of a rock vibe but my favourite song from them is Goblin (Favorite Boys). That song has such a relentless energy that just does not let up. One of 2020's best hype songs for sure!
- Congrats to your new AC I guess.
- Looks like Mommy Son got himself Dragon Quest XI instead of Pokémon Sword. A wise choice. My friend has Pokémon Shield and he has nothing but bad things to say about it.
- So a competition between the girls for the finale. Alright, I'm intrigued.
- Oookay, Jiwoo vs Yeeun will be interesting 👀
- And the Wasabii-Sleeq combo is gonna be iconic, I can already tell!
- I like these combinations, should make for some good battles.
- Yeeun hasn't been in Cube since early 2022, so fuck Cube anyways.
- Oh, DSP is an absolute shithole of a company, trust me. I believe things have gotten a bit better since RBW bought them but don't quote me on that.
- Oh shit Psy Champion! I'm actually going through Psy's full discography right now and Champion is one of my favourites from his early years!
- Isn't Cherry Filter the band that Youjeen is from, who collabed with RM on Wild Flower?
- Okay but Ailee in a karaoke competition is just unfair 😂
- AND YOUNGJI STILL WON?? Bloody hell
- Dyson have even come out with a headphone and it's the stupidest thing ever. Watch Marques Brownlee's video if you wanna see it and laugh at it.
- I have a hair dryer that cost 20€ and it works just fine. Dyson can fuck right off with their overpriced junk.

DG I watched your video after my vacation a little late. but given the current situation in your country I would find it inappropriate to comment on your video as if nothing had happened. So I'm just going to watch your videos without commenting on anything and just giving my support to all the people who are going through a very difficult time. courage to you stay safe take care of your family and your dog.

My favorite part of the episode was when the SMTM team was up 2 - 1 and DinDin was like wait it's not over yet because if Mommy's Son lost by a huge margin to Yeeun then GG wins. As one of the people said Mommy's Son lost but he became the main character anyways so he actually won.
Also the part where they called Mad Clown's name and Mommy Son responded was hilarious.
Since Youngji made a mistake in a competition and their opponents didn't it's had to vote for them. Even if they didn't mess up I still think LooFla was better.
Rhythm Power was really good but Hyoyeon, Ailee, and Jiwoo were better than I remember. I think I would have voted for the GG team on this one but it being 53-47 makes sense.
Taking away the girls budget is a little sketchy but I guess if your going to give out 10K per round they want to save on stage costs.
For the next survival show I'm cool with you just picking a small list of things that are current or your really interested in. However, I'm going to attempt to convince you that HyeMiLeeYeChaePa is in fact a survival show :)
It's a survival show in the truest sense of the word as every week we tune in to see if the members can survive another weekend in the winter without necessities like food and toilet paper like a Bear Grylls show. It's also a competition show as the members compete with and against each other to scrounge supplies to be able to survive. And there's plenty of memorable vocal and dance performances just like in kpop survival shows.
I'm mostly joking but there isn't really a variety show slot unless you randomly throw in an episode every few months on the random Monday time slot. I'm interested to see what actual survival shows make the poll in a few weeks.
Loved the reaction as always, even the horrible puns :)

1:14:03 DG - "If this was Queendom Puzzle this would be 75% of the episode."
I strongly disagree.
If this was Queendom Puzzle they would have shown all the teams standing next to each other in their stage outfits next to DinDin so it's obvious who's on a team with who and then spend 75% of the episode building the suspense of who will be on each team :)

I liked this episode a lot. I loved Nafla and Loopy's performance although I've seen better of them. I personaly did not like Youngji and Yunhway performace. It dint feel like a song but just 3 random beats played after each other where they rapped on. Too chaoti and all over the pace while the stage had nothing going on.
For Rythm Power Ive been a fan since way before the show and this was very on brand and very good. Loved it. But still I iked GG more. Will admit Im bias as F for anything Jiwoo's involved in.
Since you mention you love hiphop why not include the latest season of SMTM in your poll (Season 11). It feautres Youngji as contestant and many other amazing rappers.

Ok im writing 2 comments. 1 about the epsiode and this one cuase you pushed my DSP button! Im not going into detail about everything but here is some reasons why every kard fan and every fan of any other DSP group hates them with a passion an them being bought by RBW been a blessing to us.
They vreated a very stressful environment for their trainees in the past (Kard and April members), This let to many problems and mental issues and also conflict among some of them. A bullying scandal came out years later among April members. DSP handled it really poorly and what the truth is is still up for debate. It lead April to disband.
They are also famous for being the worst ever at promoting. Kard has never had any good promotion and recent years it has been zero.
Now what hurt me most as HiddenKard. When J.Seph went to the military they could have done things as a 3 member gorup, even made new music. J.Seph officialy gave his blessing and wanted them to do that. Kard told us they wanted it and make Kard a bigger name for Seph to get back to. But DSP decided not to and force them into a 2 year hiatus.
In this hiatus BM released his 1st solo. He excitedly told us about it in advance. It was sefl written and produced and he had many tracks ready. Somin and Jiwoo would be featured and they even planned to make an MV that would feature them too. DSP cut it to 3 tracks and no features. They scrapped his self written and produced tracks.
In the hiatus Jiwoo was supposed to have her solo debut. She excitedly told us they had the green light and she was writing for it (which she had not done for any Kard songs before that). she said she would be less active on insta cause she was working hard and told us to look forward to it to then have DSP cancel the whole thing having her apologize to the fans for not being able to keep her promise. The Kard members have actualy been vocal about some of their frustration with DSP.
Its not all bad. They have a lot of freedom and I think Cube is for sure worse but DSP is in many regards also hell.

Fun Fact: three weeks after Good Girl ended and probably 1-2 months after they recorded this episode, Loopy was featured on Hyoyeon's Dessert along with (G)I-DLE's Soyeon. It's kinda funny rewatching because both Hyo and Loopy keep mentioning and complimenting each other here when they were asked about the opposition,I think it might be fate,xd.

- Personally I didn't like that Youngji and Yunhway performance at all. I thought the stage looked really plain and empty. They only brought out a very cheap looking banner. Running to the banner was awkward and I still have a hard time figuring out what it said and what it got transformed to. I also didn't like the start. Very weak imo. The song only started doing something at the 1st chorus. But it let me down very quickly since it was all shouting. Musically it was uninteresting to me since it was 100% rap. Bummer. I hoped for some nice Yunhway vocals for a nice contrast to Youngji's strong rapping.
- The audience member who looked familiar was probably a member of Laboum, but I don't think it was Haein who you might have recognized as she was in the first episode of Queendom Puzzle.
- I'm currently watching One Piece (and have watched DBZ) so I keep wanting to call them Luffy and Nappa 😅. But anyway, THAT's how you do an opening. Epic from the start, and the energy only increased. They got the crowd moving. The only downside was that at the very end the energy stagnated a bit and the sound/lyrics became a bit repetitive/boring.
- Seeing Youngji cry and clinging to Yunhway are the only moments I got reminded she was only 17!! at the time!
- Con Air was good 👍 The pun though, I'm not so sure 😅
- First we got "recipeeee" and now we got "rest in peeeeace". Lol, sounded very similar. Rythm Power got great energy, great flows, and with the dancers and sparks they really filled the stage. The stage was almost too small actually.
- Hyoyeon's voice can really be a cheat code sometimes.
Ailee with the confident strut 😍 and rapper Ailee? Let's go!
I'll just say, Jiwoo knew exactly what she was doing. Rythm Power was good but my vote definitely goes to GG. They also had the better song imo.
- The girl in the audience they keep showing is Solbin from Laboum. Fun fact is that she was in a 2021 drama called "Idol: The Coup" together with Hani (EXID) and Exy (WJSN)
- Mommy Son still has the best picture.
- It's ironic that the shots of Mommy Son unboxing his lights had really bad lighting 😅 I guess he really did need it.
- No other contestants in the next round? Then GG already won! GG! 😄 Since they are all 1 team basically, I would've immediately suggested: "whoever wins, let's split the money evenly" 😋
- Not only do Jiwoo and Dami look and sound alike, they even dance similarly 😅
- This noraebang (karaoke) is secretly the best round. Tears vs Amor Fati? 😄 That's like putting the 2 most well-known songs in all of Korea against each other.
- I watched A2K and it's...okay, but I don't think it's worth reacting to. There are so many better shows. A2K was very similar to Nizi Project imo, but I liked Nizi better. Both are very short shows though with relatively short episodes, so it's also not that much of an investment (no hours long voting results for example).
