If you don't remember, he was also heavily involved in Queendom Puzzle. - Ravi was a member of VIXX and the CEO of Wheein's company. No idea what his actual status is there now because, as the other commenters have already pointed out, he's facing prison time for fraudulenty evading military service. - Yes, Youngmin was removed from AB6IX because of a drunk driving incident. He has however just recently returned as a solo artist under a sublabel of his old company. - Damn, we're just in the pre-preparations and Ailee is already busting out these vocals? - No diss against Yooa and Mimi but how CAN they even win against Ailee? - Okay but now seeing their performance, they actually might. What the hell was that. - No, you're not overreacting. These excessive reaction shots have to stop. - Nah, it's over. Sleeq and Ailee won. As great as Yooa and Mimi were, this is just on a completely different level. I have been sleeping on Ailee and I really need to change that. Those are vocals on the same caliber as IU and Taeyeon. And Sleeq was THE best possible partner for her. - Oh shit, Hyolyn is bringing 9Lives, right? Well, Yunhway better buckle up. - Yunhway's song was cute. But I've already heard Hyolyn's song before and I can already see a clear winner here. - Yes, like I predicted. A very easy win for Hyolyn. - 9 lives more like 9 lungs - I doesn't really matter what Yunhway did there. You cannot win against Hyolyn singing 9Lives. It's damn near impossible. Not even the performance from Ailee and Sleeq would have won this in my opinion. - This was my first time seeing anything from Ravi and holy shit. I absolutely LOVE his voice. And the rap! Not just his own rap but the feature was perfect too! Everything about this was amazing. - You know you're in for something else when even the subtitles are like „Nope, not doing this. You can figure it out yourself“ 😂 - It's probably fun to experience live but I'm just not into this type of music. Ravi wins this round for me.

Im often a little late and all my thoughts have then been said by ithers. I love this episode. Dont Cry For Me and 9 lives still get me. You know me as HiddenKard but if you seen my twitter bio there are 3 fandoms im full on part of. One of them is BAE (Hyolyn). Im biased towards her but still this performance to me also objectivly had a lpt more impact than Yunhway's. Also about Ravi. I like him a lot as casual fan so dont know all details on his situation but he is facing charges for getting out of millitary servicr and getting community service jnstead because of a medical issue which apperabtly was fake. Not a good thing to do, but as someone who is against mandatory millitary service in general I cant be too mad and he hurt no one directly, BUT what many people have a problem with and so do I, is thats its very irresponsibpe.of him to tale sucb a risk as CEO of a company. Hes facing jailtime and this brings a lot.of unsecurities to his artists among them Wheein. Yes he is Wheein's boss and after Good Girl beem Ailee's boss for a while to. The feature Chillin Homie was back then also under his label. I like him a lot as rapper. His delivery is amazing.

2023-09-22 20:26:53 +0000 UTCI love Yooa and Mimi's performance. It's one of my favorites from the show. Yes I agree mnet ruined it as always. When the main dancers come out and the choreo looks interesting it's not the time to increase the amount of reaction shots instead of showing the performance. I'm wondering if they were trying to edit it in favor of the good girl team but they really didn't need to as Ailee had it covered. I sometimes go back and watch the unedited version on youtube but I agree that you shouldn't have to rewatch all the performances from the show afterwards. They should show you the performance in a good light in the show itself. Ailee is incredible. I've been a fan for about 9 years now. This was just like Bora and Kei in Queendom Puzzle except even better. Just like you mentioned however although this was the clear winner I have watched the Yooa Mimi stage way more often than this. I still listen to Hopeless Romantic on Spotify were I never go back for Kei and Bora. Although it would help if Mnet would put the Kei and Bora performance on Spotify :) Sleeq really complemented Ailee in that performance it was a great duo. Sleeq has a long E sound like the English words sleek, geek, creek, sneak, weak, peek. I'm not sure how you got from slick to slick-uh but please go back. I can live with anything except slickuh :) Yunhway's song was nice but not really my style. I loved how she was scared of Hyolyn the whole time. Hyolyn is actually really nice even though she may seem intimidating. Hyolyn's 9 Lives is my favorite song from this whole show. I've had it on my playlist for years. I'm glad she tried something different and it really showed off her vocals. Yes, it's kind of like if Sia actually danced with Maddie Zeigler instead of just standing in the back. Pointing out Yunhway lost by the largest margin isn't great but they are going to show the individual round results at the end since the final winner is the team with the most votes not the most wins. Otherwise a 2-2 tie would be possible and then mnet would say that since it's a tie they won't pay anyone :) Ravi is basically guilty of draft dodging. It was in the news a while ago. Ravi was on Road to Kingdom and advised Very Very on their nightmare performance. Ailee and Wheein joined his company but Ailee left soon after Wheen joined. The best part about Queen Wasabi's performance was those subtitles :) I'd vote for Ravi in this round. Mnet really lucked out that the AB6ix member they had to edit out was always standing on the far end of the group instead of in the middle. I wouldn't be Mnet if they didn't leave us without finishing the round until next week. Loved the reaction as always!

2023-09-22 14:57:37 +0000 UTCwell I have to talk about it Wasabi seems to be a very bubbly and very positive girl, she brings good energy to the show and I'm happy that MNET highlights artists who are very rarely seen on TV. but Wasabi brings nothing more to the show, she is the one who has evolved the least, her concept seems very restrained and revolves around being provocative and Twerking. which has no interest for me it could be fun and refreshing once. but she only does that. all the other good girls have tried different things but not her. but indeed she also has an open mind towards Sleeq which was not winning at the start of the show given their completely opposite style.

He signed Ailee (after Good Girl) and Wheein as artist for example. The reason people view him as controversial is probably because he faked a disease and forged documents in order to avoid the mandetory military servive in Korea. It was a big scandal last year and he basically lost his reputation and his company in the process. He was sentenced to one year in prison and 120h community service.

2023-09-22 14:33:04 +0000 UTCsorry in advance for the rambling but it's the most exciting round of the show - 1 when Dindin announced the opponents of the Good girl matches came quite naturally to my head Ravi vs hyo Ailee vs Hyolin (battles of the diva's) but we see them battle often in various vocals shows Jiwoo/Yeeun vs Yooa/Mimi AB6IX vs Cheetah / Jamie / Sleeq / Youngji / Yunhway but it's the kind of match that everyone could anticipate. it was therefore a great surprise to see that all the matches that I had imagined did not take place. but it was for the honeyer. - Ravi is a former member of an insane great 2nd gen groups call VIXX it's one of my favorite 2nd gen BG with B.A.P. he's a great song writer and all rounder. in this show we can see him like a male version of Hyo - AB6IX was formed with 2 former Wanna one members (the winner of the season 2 of produce 101) Daehwi they're leader is a true talented idols he's also a song writer, composer and all rounder - DG about your comment on Yooa I understand you were biased at the time by (G)IDLE but we are all biased by our favorites so it's ok. This does not prevent us from seeing the talent of others. in good girl I was biased by a lot of people Ailee, Yeeun, Jiwoo, Sleeq, Jamie, Youngji, Hyolin, Yooa, Mimi, Daehwi, Swing, Loopy, Mad clown etc... so I could only be objective because many of my favorites were competing against each other. - and yes, few people know it but Yooa is considered one of the very best third generation dancers with Lisa, Momo and Seulgi. - YOOA X MIMI this is the kind of performance that I would have liked to see in Queendom puzzle these 2 are incredible their performance was high level, there was all staging a story, break dancing, good rap and Yooa shines vocally they were also very pretty they would have won against anyone and despite the unreal performance of Ailee and Sleeq it didn't come down to much - AILEE X SLEEQ simply the best performance I've seen on TV in 2020. you know sometimes something happens and time stops. me and obviously the good girl audience were in awe of Sleeq and Ailee Donhyun of AB6IX, very well said the reaction of the audience during this kind of performance gives even more meaning to the performance. Cheetah on the verge of tears for someone like me was incredible the reaction of Daehwi who almost had a knee-jerk reaction to the limit of the electric shock, people speechless in the audience. the time out at the end of the performance where people were so into it that they forgot to applaud. and who would have thought that the Ailee x Sleeq combination could be so magical?? Ailee is renowned for being a great performer not just a diva several of these performances are legendary in shows like Fantastic duo, Duet song festival, Immortal song or the Call but Sleeq made this performance masterful, Sleeq was like possessed and the choir was made this performance grandiose. MNET at they're peak. As for the reactions of the audience I think that for this episode it is perfectly justified because the audience was very receptive to the show. sometimes in survival MNET does a little too much but for me it magnified the performance. when the tracks are published on you tube without the reaction of the public it works less well. I have seen this performance countless times. Sleeq is the MVP of the program without a doubt, she has defied all predictions and silenced all these detractors. -Yunhway I think she had the most difficult role among the good girls. coping with hyolin is complicated. but she coped I would say that she made a good decision choosing a slightly festive song with which she is comfortable. the lyrics of the song and the vibe could have made the difference. -Hyolin. another grandiose and moving performance, I was speechless. if Ailee is an old-fashioned diva (who doesn't dance and remains static) like Mariah Carrey or Witney Houston in the 80s Hyolin is a performer like Beyonce. and this is the way. frankly very good time this episode was a treat for me to put Hyolin and Ailee in the same show and you have all my attention and support. Hyolin won by a very wide margin. but if Yunhway is a little below the others the 3 performances of Ailee x Sleeq, Yooa x Mimi and Hyolin are of a very high level and we received a lot of votes.

Both Mimi's rap and Yooa's vocals were beyond my expectation. I agree about a little too many reaction shots. But they didn't replay the same parts that much, which should be good thing, but maybe that's why you get that feeling of that you are missing parts. It might also be because there already was A LOT going on, and that all those reaction shots pushed it over the edge and made it feel a bit chaotic. - Yeah, maybe you were a little bit moody. You said you weren't wearing headphones because you felt like your head would explode? That's a good reason. Don't worry though, happens to all of us. I still enjoy the reaction. - I love this song by Ailee and Sleeq. It's so unique. I was especially surprised by Sleeq's low singing voice. Very nice tone and made for a great contrast against Ailee's. I wished they walked forward a little slower (in pace with the song). - I appreciate your efforts in fixing your pronunciation of "Sleeq", but I don't know who gave you tips, but it made it worse 😅. You used to say "Slick", and now you are even adding "eu" at the end... "Sleeq" is pronounced the same as "peak", "geek", "sleeq". (Even in hangul 슬릭, seul-lig, there's no "eu" at the end). - Yunhway's song was a nice, catchy, beach club song. It did end a bit abruptly though. - God Hyolyn. What can't she do? Her vocals were awesome. Her dancing I'm a bit split on: on the one hand she didn't really dance that much (so why barefeet and dance at all?), but on the other hand because she goes in and out of the dance with the dancer, they keep being connected. If she had shoes on or if she wouldn't dance (like Park Bom for example), then there would be quite a disconnect. - I really like Ravi's character. He's a former member of VIXX and is now under the same label as Wheein (The L1ve). They are quite cute together actually.

The guy who called himself MNet's son is Daehwi, he won the very first Produce series on MNet to debut in WannaOne (other groups from Produce include I.O.I, Iz*One, X1 or Kep1er). He also recently performed Let It Go with Solar at KpopFlex as a special stage. Guy is a fantastic singer. Unfortunately,AB6IX leader 'Lim Young Min‘ because of the drink-driving, the footage of him was completely edited out,This also created a very bad situation for the group, who were about to release a new album at the time. About Hyolyn's "Nine Lives”: This was her debut of this song. No one had heard the song or saw a performance before Good Girl. Even the music video didn’t come out until a few months later. She didn’t start preforming it on music shows until later that year also. That’s why they were so surprised by her more emotional song and barefoot performance.
