- I enjoyed Yunhway's performance quite a bit. Very vibey.
- I'm so high on my Kard fever right now. You don't understand how fucking hyped I am for Monday. I just hope my foot recovers until then because I can barely walk right now, much less stand and dance at a concert for hours.
- Oh my, you're quite excitable today, aren't you?
- Sensual, seductive, sexy, suggestive. In other words: just another Tuesday for a Kard member.
- Fun fact, this Take You Down cover was part of Kard's concert setlist a few years ago. So there are fans who got to see Jiwoo do all of THIS live.
- Jamie is great. I don't know too much about her but this performance just reinforces everything I do know.
- Hm. Hyoyeon wasn't bad, I just wish she sang/rapped more. Doesn't help that I'm not a fan of Cardi B.
- Ok yeah, Ailee has my favourite performance out of the ten. The swing, the sass, the power vocals! Everything!
If I had to rank these ten performances, it might be something like this:
1. Ailee
2. Youngji
3. Jiwoo
4. Jamie
5. Yeeun
6. Sleeq
7. Yunhway
8. Cheetah
9. Hyoyeon
10. Queen Wasabii
Highly subjective, biased and influenced by my tastes in music genres of course.
- Sleeq explained why she put a thumbs down on Hyoyeon. She just isn't a dancer and can't imagine herself on a stage with one of THE main dancers of the industry.
- Yes, Youngji! Not mad at this at all.
- Did this just turn into an Apple sponsorship?
- Sleeq is just adorable. „Feminist from Hell“ my ass.
- My man, you are down bad for Yeeun. Not that I blame you tho
- Ah yes, the vegan struggle of always having to bring your own food. I'm not one myself but I have vegan friends so I know this all too well.
- Man, that just sucks. Being the odd one left out like this.
- Is Youngji actually fucking serious about the Macarena?
- I guess she is. Huh.
- Alright then. That was a thing. I don't know if I liked it but it was certainly interesting.
- Kinda worried about Sleeq and Hyoyeon. But we'll see. Your comparison of Sleeq to NF makes a lot of sense.

I saw Jamie in a few shows of Dive studio and I couldn't stop laughing.
I agree with you about Sleeq, it is hard to communicate or understand when people do not express their mind. It leave too much space for people to interpretant as they wish and misjudge you.

Hyoyeon's performance was so cool. I love it.
I'm in love with Ailee's performance. It was perfect.
Jiwoo devoured that stage, she has everything from talent in singing, dancing and rapping down to the stage presence,She's also gorgeous.

This episode is what made me really like Jamie. Her vocal power and control blew me away and she's super chill, cute, and honest as a person but always makes sure that other people feel comfortable. Unless they are close friends and then she makes them feel awkward as possible lol.
I really like Sleeq. The way Mnet has presented her, she sounds super introverted, which resonates with me. Although in front of the camera by herself she has expressed being flexible to work with, but as she appears to be very introverted, she may not always know how to express that to other people. When you keep your thoughts to yourself, people don't know what you're thinking or how to read you or interpret your actions so I can understand why people might not understand her.
In any case glad you're enjoying Good Girl. I hope you find some gems in this series.

If I got a penny for each big mistake JYP has made, I'd be rich 😆
He (or his company) rejected:
- BTS J-Hope
- IU (multiple times)
- BTOB Sungjae
- EXO Xiumin
- G-FRIEND Yuju
- SISTAR Hyolyn
- EXID Hani

I also think that everyone else just wanted an easy performance with how little time they had to prepare, hyo was also left out because of that.

People were surprised that mnet invited sleeq because of how well-known and outspoken sleeq is with her views/ beliefs that go against the norms, people were even more surprised that she said yes to joining the show.
Contrasting her with Hyoyeon the most mainstream and popular cast member by korean standards at this point in time... think about the songs we saw sleeq showing at this point to perform with hyo, fast-paced and powerful rap, while hyo can rap she is not a rapper.
I think it was briefly implied that it was sleeq who downvoted hyo, because sleeq couldn't see herself dancing (remember the voting was based on if they wanted to perform with them, not if they thought it was good or not).
I think the only other parring that would have been more jarring is sleeq and wa$$abi.

- if Yunhway's performance was baby-making music, then Jiwoo was about making triplets or something 🥵
- Some info on Jamie: she was in the position to sign with either YG, SM or JYP and ultimately chose JYP, who sadly ended up doing almost nothing for her. An audience member Yubin (Wondergirls) was also from JYP, that's why she knew Jamie.
- Seeing them in that fancy hotel, letting them stay there for 2 days, the fancy lobby, etc, makes Queendom Puzzle look even cheaper... 😬

It absolutely does not matter how many times I watch Jiwoo's performance from this episode, I will lose my shit every time. That was completely wild and amazing. She is one hell of a performer.

for more context at that time Sleeq was called the feminist from hell because she dealt with a very controversial or very unpopular subject in South Korea. Just for example, being vegan is not frowned upon but misunderstood in South Korea. one of the most meat-consuming countries in the world. it would be like asking a cow not to graze on grass. I would say that Korea is perhaps one of the worst countries for a vegan. there are many other much more serious subjects that Sleeq deals with and she is a very good author and very good rapper. she just seems a bit too serious for the rest of the korean rap community. that's why many people seem reluctant to perform with her. but fortunately everyone will adapt very quickly to each other. and we are going to have incredible performances.

.yes DG you're right these artists are unique and that's why they were invited. what I like most about this show is the respect the artists have for each other despite their differences in point of view and opinions. Sleeq and Wasabi are undoubtedly the most divisive artists on the show because they are the 2 extreme opposite. yet they get along very well and manage to exchange together. I'm not a fan of wasabi myself but I like to see the mentality in this show.
- Jiwoo and KARD are extremely popular in Latin America and particularly in Brazil. They spend three quarters of their time on tour there because they are really very popular. it's almost no longer a KPOP group but more a Latino group. I think it's smart of them, they know that they're not very popular in Korea so they do their promotions in America even if of course they make their comeback in Korean shows like all groups.
-Yunwhay is very cool and has a pretty unique voice
-Jamie comes from old-style survival shows like Kpop star, Superstark or Kpop idol. a format that all countries have adopted. people have free auditions and the best can perform on TV at the end only one winner wins a contract in an agency. Jamie, but also Akmu, Lee hi, IU, Sejeong and several other idols were spotted in these shows. in 2015 the survival shows changed format and scale with the Produce series which launched the survival shows we know today or auditions are done in agencies to start a group. and only the best are selected for the survival.
-Hyo likes the challenge normally a star as she would sleep on these laurels. She comes from the most popular group of the last decade, she is a millionaire and has nothing to prove to anyone. despite that, she agreed to participate in shows that could jeopardize her image. only to show that she is always on top that you should never believe that she is above the othersx she needs to learn new things to make herself known in other areas. while these members shine solo or in the cinema she decides to choose the less easy route.
-Ailee what can I said she's a goodess "i WILL SHOW YOU" is one of my favorite song of all time best vocalist in korea to me little bit above Hyolin and Solji from EXID.
my favorite performance are
1 Ailee (i'am biased)
2 Yong-ji
3 Yeeun
4 Jiwoo
5 Yunwhay
6 Hyo
7 Jamie
8 Cheetah
9 Sleeq
10 Wasabi
