Here's the final post before the release! Let me paint you a picture of where we're at right now. I've finished almost everything I wanted to. There were tons of small tasks near the end, but most of them are behind us now. Music, sounds, effects, renders, text - everything's done except for the animations, which I'm a bit embarrassed to say I left for the very last. I'm working on those at full speed right now. At the same time, I'm busy with the English translation, which is also taking up precious time.

Overall, I've run through the completed second episode, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's engaging to play, with both funny and tense moments. The episode came out quite long and feels pretty cohesive. In total, there are 1607 renders and 5.2k lines of code/text. Though just like in the first episode, there won't be too many major game choices this time. Also, one lewd scene ended up a bit shorter than I would've liked.

As I promised earlier, I'll release everything that's ready in January. But since I still have some work to do, the release will be on January 31st. I'm setting it this late to have time to complete as many animations as possible. If I feel there aren't enough of them, I'll release an additional pack after the main release with bug fixes and extra animations (and maybe I'll expand that lewd scene I mentioned above).

So, to repeat, the release will be on January 31st. I'm not announcing the exact time yet, but it'll probably be towards the evening.
