I did talk a bit at the end about YGX's performance as a whole and how it was better, at least I think I did, but I can't remember 😅

2023-02-05 18:02:38 +0000 UTChonestly i have to hard disagree with your take on the YGX WANT battle, you said "ygx thinks want wins only thank to chaeyon's popularity but you did what you did, you only win thank to the bboying part" if you watch the 2 choreo vids, there's a clear gap in all part, YGX clearly dominates, and WANT didn't do a good job. Even the judges said they "lacked practice" and "YGX did better at WANT's parts than WANT themselves". I just think it's a bit annoying that YGX gets so much shade from the contenders and becomes the head to shoot without any recognition from others because they are the best (in choreography and execution at least). And it is shady to say they only won from the bboying part. If it was only that the gap wouldn't be that big. so it is not fair play to have a famous contender in the team, it just comes to a popularity vote. I am not saying that chaeyon shouldnt be there as she is a great dancer and it's fantastic to see her grow in the show, but it's legitimate for other crew to complain about it. It's a dance skill based show, not a popularity contest. Chaeyon's idol status inevitably advantages a lot her crew despite how good or bad they do. Anyway i love all the talents from the WANT crew, still follow them individually, rozalin moana emma are the future and the most talented, promessing dancers in SWF along with Simeez and LeeJung, but as a crew, WANT doesnt work. for what you said later on, i don't think it matters that YGX comes from YG or not, what matters is that lee jung is a choreographers for basically all the biggest girl group in the industry, the popularity comes from her talents as a choreographer and her crew.

2023-02-05 17:42:56 +0000 UTCSo this episode was a bit conflicting for me. The groups I like the most I have to admit are more based on personality than anything else. Leejung comes across as very cocky and lacking self awareness so a part of me was definitely rooting for Want but at the end of the day it wouldn't have been satisfying bc YGX was undoubtedly the better crew and deserved the win and it was the same with WayB. I wanted them to do well but it was clear from the beginning that they're not quite on par with the other crews and Noze is inexperienced as a leader. That's why it's kind of a conflicting disappointment. Having said that, my opinions on Leejung or any of the others are kept strictly within the confines of this show. I've seen too much of Mnet's handy work to know this isn't always a true representation of one's character. Leejung seemed bothered that they made her choose a crew for elimination. It's clearly a tactic on Mnet's part to fuel the competitive behavior.

2023-01-30 17:26:43 +0000 UTCXD i don't talk about you this time . usualy i put you're name first when i want ask you a question or made a suggestion. i express my opinion only during the first episode . but i read all the comment and it's seems than many people think than this show got a lot of trash talk but they still enjoy watching it so i'am surprise . but no i don't want than anyone feel "guilty " to watch it lol I watch the show back then i just don't need to re watch it . like i said that look more like a western show to me and many people like when show are spicy with lot of tension and drama .

2023-01-30 17:20:30 +0000 UTCI expressed why I enjoy the show in previous reactions even though there are many moments that I have an opinion on, I get that you don't like it at all and I respect it and I understand it 100%. But I'm not sure why there's a need to constantly express that displeasure in almost every post relating to SWF ever since the poll and make anyone feel super guilty for enjoying it. We can have a conversation about it which is what happens in most of the SWF episodes :) For every moment that I may not like, there are more than a few that I can enjoy and smile at, this episode was no different.

2023-01-30 15:39:17 +0000 UTCto be honest i love so much dance i use to be in a dance crew when i was younger .and i love all show we got in korea because of the feel good vibe we have in that kind of show . even if it's hard all idols support each other even if they're rival . but this show even if we can see some great performance alway's trash talk . i see some of you complain about how you dislike mnet "evil editing " but this show is the worst for that it's almost a western show to me not a korean one . i don't understand why you seem's to enjoy that show despite the fact than you dislike the spirit of the show .

2023-01-30 13:52:04 +0000 UTCFor all I went off on YGX in my comment, Yell is the one girl in that group that didn't show any pettiness at all. She seems quite the stoic character. Furthermore, I absolutely agree, that she does the choreo parts just as good as anyone. I specifically watched her during the performance, and she fit in flawless during the formations. Maybe a bit stiff sometimes, but hardly noticeable. However, her breakdancing was rather muted and sporadic. Maybe she's good, but she didn't show anything past basic breakdance moves. In shows like Americas Best Dance Crew (god, that's like 15 years ago) breakdancers with way more intricate and flashy moves got eliminated.

She’s an Olympic level breakdancer and she’s great at all the other genres of dance they do in their performances. They all keep making comments about how her breakdancing is “predictable” and it’s just stupid to me like it’s predictable that Holybang is going to do hiphop, it’s predictable that cocoa n butter will do dancehall or some sexy variation of something they’ve already done. Yell’s a breakdancer— an incredible one at that— but none of them appreciate it because its not something they can do and it’s not something they know well.

I was planning to put up a comment but you worded it better than I ever could 😄 Yeah, on the one hand I like Leejung (specifically her dancing and choreos), but on the other hand I really can't with her fake smiles and general backhandedness (DG mentioned her being hypocritical as well). In her defense though when she made that comment about Chaeyeon's popularity, the question was specifically about the Global Popularity score.

First they started punching down on Chaeyeon, basically the strongest dancer shitting on the newest. After that the "strategizing" with putting the best dancers waaayy in the back and fucking giggling about it and now the whole "but you HAVE to copy the b-girl performance". And to top it off Leeyoung throwing the "If we lose, it's only because of Chaeyeon (Who we shit on repeatedly and basically made her not wanting to be a dancer anymore.)" The less I see of them the better. HolyBang and Lachica was an awesome match. And both showed, that they can do so much more than the earlier mentioned "stripper dance". Also I have seen both groups in varity content and they can be soo funny, which definitelypeaked through here and there. Sadly I feel CocanButter did not show that for me. Their performance was all sex no style and made it easy for Hook to win in my opinion. Especially with Aiki basically pulling a "Jabbawockeez". I'm a bit sad for WayB. I liked their clean style even though it lacks a bit of attitude. Prowdmon really got whipped into shape. Their performance was pretty awesome. Me, personally, I'd rather lose with Noze than getting forced to victory by Monica. However, WayBs battle was weak. CnB clearly took that one. Honestly I liked CnB's battle performance way more than their choreo.
