Hani wore a mask and went on stage herself in episode 47-48, and successfully proved herself. That episode is still considered a legendary episode. It is also called the Group of Death because many singers famous for their skills have appeared. * Ha Hyun woo also appears in the episode. He's really... Personally, I think we should watch every episode he appears in.

2023-01-29 20:13:22 +0000 UTCI've seen some other countries copies of this show but none come even close, pretty much in all aspects: the quality of singers (you can expect this episode's level everytime pretty much), the masks, the chill vibe of the show, etc. Yeah the male judge was Eunkwang from BTOB. The girl that looked familiar is Hani from EXID. Half of the judges change every (few) episodes, so be prepared to see a lot more familiar faces. "I wish there were subtitles". You and me both 😔 but you can watch full subbed episodes on the watchasian site.

Anyway I'm really glad King of Mask singer introduced me to Ha Hyun Woo back into 2016. I love that mans voice and without King of the Mask singer I might have never found them. His 9 win streak is still the record afaik.

As I've been watching the "Baby Monster" videos, when I listened to Haram and Chiquita they reminded me of Rose'. Not because of how their voices sounded, but because it reminded me of Rose' on "Sea of Hope" and some other shows, where she's just sitting down and singing. Some solo artists wouldn't be comfortable with that, but she seems most comfortable when she does that. Those two girls gave me that same vibe, and that's a good sign.
