2022-09-20 02:53:51 +0000 UTCThis is definitely one of my favourite episodes, if for nothing else, for the way it's structured. While Mira has been painted as not the best person (stolen money from Chan-seong in the past, was seemingly an annoying person to the people around her), she clearly doesn't deserve what Man-wol was doing to her. On top of that, this is definitely the darkest and most vindictive we've seen Man-wol, at least in modern time, to the point where it almost comes out of nowhere (not the fact that she's capable of bad things, but the escalation seemed sort of fast here). The show sort of (I think) intentionally confuses you, and incites questions being asked. Questions that they answer before the episode's end, allowing you to understand why Man-wol has this reaction to Mira virtually on sight. Granted, I'm in the camp of "Mira still doesn't deserve that" seeing as it literally wasn't her who did those things, but can still of course empathize with Man-wol on the level of "sure, but I don't care." When something that horrible happens to you, fairness doesn't matter. It wasn't fair that her people, including Yeon-u, were killed. So fuck it. Lots of different emotions with this one, I love it.
