I know I'm late but if you're interested in real things that happened in kdrama you should watch 1987:when the day comes. It's a movie that was loved and appreciated by the whole korean nation. There are greatest actors in this movie and it's heartbreaking story that starts with killing student boy. After this movie female lead visited mom of the killed guy and whole crew talked with victims of this situation. I didn't know about this movie before snowdrop,but after scandal behind snowdrop everybody said that 1987 is way better and I watched it,at the end I cried. I love some actors from snowdrop,male lead was incredible in dp, I'm not that big fan of blackpink,I just love their music,Jisoo did pretty good job but I understand why victims of that time felt that way. It's a great drama if we separate what happened and kdrama. Anyway I'm amazed how they casted this actors,it was good drama ,maybe not great as 1987 but it's good kdrama
