REACTING TO BLACKPINK DANCE PRACTICES!

This is early access, but honestly, I feel like it'll be a while before I put it on YT, so, enjoy :)

REACTING TO BLACKPINK DANCE PRACTICES!

Comments

DKWTD is ny most favorite choreo from them. The complexity and synchronicity is amazing. Professional dancers and choreographers commend that dance because of the core strength needed to do to those leg lifts. As for Whistle, BP said one time that this is the hardest for them, and this was supported by one choreographer who watched it. Whistle has almost no beat, it’s minimalist, so you’re dancing to basically nothing—the sound chases you, not the other way around.

that why idols alway's put MV for story telling .dance practice video for showing they're perfect in sync routine and live performance focus on everything , vocals , dance, charisma and facial expression .

Also you brought up an interesting point: that it would be nice to see BP covering a Dreamcatcher song. I want to take that one step further in that I actually like to see ANY group cover a Dreamcatcher song. Sure, there have been a few, but all by groups that already do "dark" concept themselves (PinkFantasy, Rolling Quartz), and the number of covers can be counted on 1 hand. It's almost criminal. Makes you wonder why. Do groups don't like to be "associated" with dark concepts? Do they think it won't be popular? Is the choreography too hard? Fun fact is that Dreamcatcher has covered quite a few BP songs.

Since you mentioned liking the studio Choom dance performance from Yeji and Ryujin (of course you liked it), I looked if you've ever watched Artist of the Month performance by Soojin. I was actually unable to find it (there's also great performances by Ryujin, Yeji, Chaeryeong, and Hyunjin from Stray Kids). Even if you're not knowledgeable in dance I, for one, will certainly watch your reaction to them. You already did a good job on reacting to these BP dance practices, sooo.... 😋

I always go back to the fact that Blackpink can sing "deep" lyrics and can do complicated "hard" choreography, but, for the most part, they DON'T. That goes to what we've talked about and O G Kpop Stan did in the reaction to "That That", and that's relatability and accessibility. If fans can sing/dance along, they're going to love it a lot more. Add in 4 women who can look like supermodels, or the girl next door, or your best friend, and you have the top girl group in the world.
