I was able to watch in the cinema—this was one of the movies that opened right after the restrictions were lifted here in my country, although not in the ScreenX cinema, just a regular one. The experience was amazing. Moviegoers were basically mostly Blinks and we all have the same mindset—we brought our light sticks with us! So it turned into a concert of sorts! Cheering and shouting. Complete strangers talking to each other, sharing each “oh” and “aaaah!” with fellow fans. A lot of the song performances here are from their 2021 online concert—The Show (I suggest you react to it as well in its entirety , perhaps as a milestone? But most of the scenes here also those in The Show) But even though I have already watched The Show, I still enjoyed seeing those performances bigger than life. However, you can watch the D4 performance from The Show. It is so different. Crazy Over You is one of their best songs in my opinion; very original in its arrangement and production. It doesn’t have an MV but when you dissect the lyrics it’s about obsessive, almost psychotic, love. That’s why it has that exotic and mystic feel in terms of sound. It actually mimics horror and suspense thrillers, as well as the obsessive element and attraction. Jisoo’s “eeee-eeee-eeee” sound like that of a witch’s laugh when mixing this concoction to get the object of her affection. AIIYL’s arrangement is different styles done right. It takes you to a lot of places. The drop is just perfect. The beat switches are drastic but smooth and it is not jarring. Yes, Blackpink’s meteoric rise to worldwide fame is something you don’t see often anywhere. Being able to have a proper world tour—taking on 25 cities in 4 continents in just three years of being a group—is no easy feat. Though sadly this is also the reason why they have a lot of haters 😞.

There wasn't much new in here, but what I got from this was how much they miss being able to be on stage. They're, as I've often said, performers, and getting up in front of a crowd and seeing and hearing them sing and dance along and cheer for them is what makes all of the hard work worth it. They've been pretty much living in a vacuum for 2 years now. This also reinforces why they're so attached to Blinks - They've had a lot of long layoffs, and Blinks have stuck with them through it all. Their affection and gratitude is, I think, totally genuine. Lastly, you seem to have a bias. I'm glad that I don't have to. I just watch Jisoo perform with those 3 other girls that back her up, and don't have to choose. ;) I'm OT4, period, actually. Jisoo is just the one that I'd most like to have a coffee with and hang out.

2022-04-29 19:42:52 +0000 UTCyou should check Blackpink The Album before their next comeback, Lovesick Girl,How you like that, Ice cream had a MV , but for another 5 songs : crazy over you, Love to hate me , You never know, Bet you wanna feat Cardi B and Pretty Savage you can react with color coded lyric so you can understand the lyric because those has deep meaning and you'll find different sound than you ever heard from Blackpink and it's all great songs.
