AOA is a group with many hit songs, every comeback was a hit, they were originally 7 + a drummer, the drummer left, then another member left, then another one left, then they were like 5, and now only 3 are still in the company, but they don't do anything else as a group, i'm a big fan of them

2022-02-03 21:23:04 +0000 UTCusualy in kpop group every members had a position like in a soccer team .leader, main dancer ,main vocal, main rapper , center ,visual etc... and every members as carry one work for they're team the main dancer create or lead the choreo , the main vocal as to carry the most important part of the songs and learn the technique for the weakest members , same for the rapper .the center as to make the group charismatic on stage and the leader as to directed the team in all aspect and make them as a unit team . but SOYEON can take all the spot and not many idol can do that .

Plus I feel like it builds anticipation lol

It's really amazing to see Soyeons versatility and she nails the rap every single time! :) I would recommend to go in release order to see their progression through the years. Otherwise you should checkout thier latest titel track HWAA :)

2022-01-30 22:28:55 +0000 UTCI felt so bad for Oh My Girl watching the self evaluations. It sucks there has to be rankings bc they are all such good performances. Even with that obviously the results can go any way. My rankings would have been G Idle, Mamamoo, Oh My Girl, AOA, Lovelyz the Park Bom. She is at a real disadvantage I agree with you there. Im not sure if they had her in because there wasn't a 6th girl group with a comeback at the time. This show is so good and the performances get better and better! I love seeing the idol interactions. There is alot of reasons as to why AOA was down members and eventually disbanded and its a heavy topic that honestly would be a lot to breakdow but there are some good videos on it out there if you were truly interested. Can't wait for the next episode! I cant with Hyojung's crying speech when they didn't come in last! Its so cute ๐.

2022-01-30 17:57:30 +0000 UTCAs AoA is an older group, some of these songs are fairly old. Miniskirt came out in 2014 and they have learned plenty of other dances since then. They probably hadn't performed Miniskirt in a couple of years at this point. They started out with 7 members and one "half-angel" as their drummer. She was the first to leave once they no longer did band concepts. After that Choa, their main singer left for mental health reasons, and then Mina left to pursue acting. Choa recently started to show back up again. They have lost more members since then, but I really don't want to get into all of that. I love how Mamamoo's antics sold you on them getting the second spot. I agree having one solo artist is a bit weird. I know for Kingdom they didn't do it and all 6 teams were actually groups. Hopefully, Queendom Season 2 will be all groups. The year after Queendom they did do a slightly more soloist-focused show called Good Girl, which was 10 rappers and singers (mostly underground but some idols) working together to do collaborations against however their opponents were for the episode. That show also had some amazing performances. Oh My Girl's Mimi and YooA were on the show as competition during the idols episode. Oh man, your reaction to all the fakeouts and tension building during the results portion. Mijoo really is something else. You could tell how upset she was just by her cutting herself short when it was first announced when she always has something to say. You really should check out when Jessi interviewed Mijoo on Showterview. They are friends from being on the show Sixth Sense together and their personalities mash pretty well. 2022-01-30 10:58:37 +0000 UTCOne day you will get Mamamoo's name right. One other thing about Mamamoo, is they got their fame by grinding things out. Their company wasn't a big one (but now they are acquiring companies left and right, including Oh My Girl's company) when they started, but girls really ground it out including constantly appearing in festivals sometimes 3 different ones in a day. They were very much workaholics. They are never getting right into the performance without showing some of the prep. Never. The senior/junior thing I mentioned it before. The words sunbae and hoobae which mean senior and junior respectively are used a lot in K-Pop when referring to anyone who made their debut before or after you. It is a hierarchical society, so you are expected to show respect to those more senior than you. The girl you called a perfect doll is YooA. Personally, I would go with elf, but she does really stand out. She did have a solo debut with the song Bon Voyage. The long pause at the end for the end fairy while I'm sure they still feel it is awkward is also something they are used to. The AoA member you pointed out is Seolhyun is the most famous member due to her good looks and doing commercials. I'm sure I will talk about them more later. Soyeon really is a mad genius. Latata is a great song and I was hooked from the moment I saw it, but this version is something else and so incredible. I like how no matter what theme they go for, Yuqi's cuteness always shines through. You need to hurry up and watch Mamamoo's killing voice so you can fall in love with them. Mijoo is the main dancer of the group and like Lisa is very quick on the uptake when it comes to learning dance moves. On another show, a guy wanted to learn how to dance to a BTS song for when he proposed to his girlfriend, and Mijoo was brought in to teach him. She went from watching a dance performance video to instantly teaching him and his friends instantly along with figuring out how to adjust it to their skill level. She also has a great voice that she has only recently been able to start to show off as part of the same show. Despite Hwasa's reaction, she is as much a beagle as the rest of the group. Wheein and Hwasa are actually childhood friends.

Here is some information that may help you: - when pronouncing Mamamoo just think of a mother cow, a mama moo (although a moo is a radish in Korean, hence the radish-like lightstick) - the o in Park Bom is a short o. So think "dog" but pronounced more like the British would, instead of dawg. - these kind of shows just looove to drag out the voting results. Relatively speaking Queendom isn't even that bad, but in case you really can't handle it: it won't get less as the show progresses. - as you've already noticed, this isn't a tournament-style, back-to-back performances kind of show. As a matter of fact there may not even be a performance at all in an episode. Instead you'll get more interaction and bonding between groups (which I quite like).
