Even if it wasnt intentional, as that sort of grey-brown countershading is common to wolves and hares, i love how similar but distinct oren's patterns are to gristle and his daughter. It really adds to the dichotomy to me, since their storylines are so intertwined

Ah, the old wolf is no longer a spring chicken. That grunt as he climbs onto the rock is familiar to this old bear.

Suddenly pondering tribal vocabulary as it pertains to fire.
Do the wolves expect fire outside natural phenomena? Without which the adjective "wild" seems redundant. For that matter, what does "wild" even mean to them?

200th page. congratulations, I can't wait to see what happens next. Oren's Forge is in my top three of the best comics. (and from afar. ^^)
