Even if it wasnt intentional, as that sort of grey-brown countershading is common to wolves and hares, i love how similar but distinct oren's patterns are to gristle and his daughter. It really adds to the dichotomy to me, since their storylines are so intertwined

2021-11-16 01:16:28 +0000 UTCSuddenly pondering tribal vocabulary as it pertains to fire. Do the wolves expect fire outside natural phenomena? Without which the adjective "wild" seems redundant. For that matter, what does "wild" even mean to them?
