We can't see what Sophia would gain... but, then again, most of us would have given up on Elle long ago in Sophia's shoes and she's still hanging on... sigh... I do agree that it's most likely an attempt to make Clara's dad's company look bad. They need to discuss business and call it a business dinner and play it safe!

2024-06-19 22:31:41 +0000 UTCIt can't be Sophia because I don't see what she'd gain. Clara would explain to Elle that it was a friendly meetup, not a date, and Sam would corroborate that. I don't see how that could mess up her situation with Clara at all. I think it's business-related, especially since Clara mentioned that during the meetup. Business rumors could be harder to dispel, especially if competitors want to use the rumor as ammo.

Are they paid for by Sophia to prove to Elle that Clara is going out with another woman and has moved on? Or did Sam set it up so they would make headlines and "make Sophia jealous"?
