Yeah I didn't understand her argument that she didn't "technically" agree to getting back with Elle. They had a connection whether it was verbal or not. She even got invited to meet her family. She must know what that means no?
Now, this action would tell Elle she's moved on, so by going on this "date" she's effectively made her choice. It feels like she's leading them both on. She could have told the woman "we can have dinner but don't consider it a date." I mean she was just all giddy about going with Elle to see her family. Instead, she talks like agreeing to this date is a non-choice when it is one.

So that's her game... she's trying to make Sophia think that she's going to "lose" her to Clara by trying to make a move on her and cutting Sophia off, to try to trigger an, "I won't lose another lover to that woman!" reaction and make her "realize her feelings" for her... when she'll probably see it as open season on Elle... Clara, though... while you didn't give Elle an answer, it might not be the best idea to date a model working for your company... and it is likely to hurt Elle's feelings, since it will technically be your second date with the woman...

Ouch but also good for her for finally being done with being usedβ¦.
