Devoted: A Penlight Bonus Story - The Mean Update

Hey, angels! It's time for another update to the side project I've been working on!

For those who missed it last time, Devoted (working title) is a separate visual novel project that takes place in the Penlight universe, would be canon to one of the storylines and is... well, the writing in this is way too hot, dirty and explictly monstrous for Penlight. So, big content warning if you're not interested in the lewd stuff, because that's what this thing is about!

So um... yeah. It's different in tone to the regular content I produce! If the prospect of Penlight's characters being put in lewd and totally immoral situations turns you on (or at least, doesn't turn you off) I invite you to check it out~

Features

• A separate story in the Penlight universe that details the events of the Villainous Devotion route that takes place on the seventh day, after Kyou did what he set out to do but before the epilogue
• 10,500 word script, about a third to halfway complete
• Two distinct routes, with a number of minor choices enabling to player to tailor things more to their tastes
• All graphics sourced from the Penlight visual novel, with unique art intended for later
• English language only (for now)

What's New

• Meaner version of both story paths. Get there by choosing to treat Nozomi and the others "like they deserve" for the first choice.
• Experimental new UI, with thicker-outlined text and no background. To add a plain grey background similar to the original presentation, enter the preferences menu and enable "Text Background"

Devoted is a very experimental release for me, as it's a bit out of my comfort zone, but it's been a good creative break from my writing of the main game. My plan for Devoted is that unlike Penlight it'll be a premium title, made available only to angelcake/cheesecake level backers and (eventually) on Itch for a reasonable fee.

Oh, and I should also mention that this will likely be the last time I talk about Devoted on here. If you're interested and would like to continue following this side project, I'll be launching a special section on my Discord server next month with more progress updates and downloads as they happen. Yeah it's an awkward way of handling things, but Devoted is an awkward fit for my Patreon so I think this is the best way to go about it.
