Preview Release: Devoted (Working Title) - A Penlight Bonus Story

Hello, angels!

So, as I've been teasing for the past month I've been working on a little something on the side of my usual Penlight content. Those of you on my Discord have already seen a preview by way of a written outline I posted to the exclusive angelcakes channel there, but for those who haven't, Devoted (working title) is a separate visual novel project that takes place in the Penlight universe, would be canon to one of the storylines and is... well, the writing in this is way too hot, dirty and explictly monstrous for Penlight. So, big content warning if you're not interested in the lewd stuff, because that's what this thing is about!

Devoted, as you may have guessed, concerns the Villainous Devotion story and details what happens the day after Kyou's struggles have been resolved but before the epilogue. The main game glosses over it and merely implies what might have happened, but this story is meant to fill in the blanks and leave little to the imagination. This preview release of the prototype I'm developing is about a third of the way done, close to 9,000 words, and has no custom artwork, but I feel it's a good representation of what it could become.

I find it a bit embarrassing to be writing this kind of stuff, especially as I've never done it before and it goes a little bit against my own tastes, but I can't say I haven't enjoyed the little creative break from the regular content I've been making for the main game. If there's enough support for it I may well spin this off into a full visual novel production with its own CG art, albeit from a new artist as Penlight's artist won't draw more than light ecchi stuff. It's a much more manageable project than Penlight due to it being pretty neatly contained with little potential for scope creep so I reckon I could handle producing this thing alongside the main game.

So um... yeah. It's different in tone to the regular content I produce!
