Art Preview: Zombie Storyline Ending (Part 2)

Hello again, cakes!

Following on from the previous CG, which illustrated the first half of the Zombie storyline's epilogue, we're moving straight ahead to the second planned CG which closes out the final scene!

In this scene, Kyou and Nozomi are on break after a tough morning working the class café. They find themselves outside and Nozomi talks about her guilt over what happened a few weeks ago. She wonders if she'll ever be able to enjoy her guilty pleasure again, having seen it hurt the people closest to her. However, everyone's been nothing but supportive of Nozomi and what she's been doing; all that remains is for Nozomi to allow herself to take pleasure in it again and for that, Kyou has an idea...

He asks Nozomi to put her hands together and thrust out her index fingers in front of her face before staring at the space between the fingers. Nozomi instantly recognises this as a callback to their earlier antics and is at first annoyed with Kyou, asking how on earth this will help her. But Kyou persists, because if he knows anything about Nozomi, it's that her love for this sort of thing won't easily be diminished. Sure enough, Nozomi finds herself going along with his trick as he suggests to her that her fingers are being drawn closer together by an irresistable force. Nozomi knows exactly what he's doing, but still her eyes focus on the space between her fingers until they touch and accepts that when Kyou clicks his fingers, she'll drop into a deep trance in front of him.

Kyou's delighted to have been proved right, and he quickly brings her back out of her trance after giving her a simple, fun suggestion for her to follow when they get back to the café. Nozomi freely admits she enjoyed the experience he just gave her and the two make their way back to class with Nozomi's love for mesmerism restored and Kyou realizing that he's come to value her as his closest friend~

It's another beautiful CG, and I'm looking forward to getting it finished and placed in the next early access release due at the end of this month. I hope you'll look forward to it too!
