Early Access: Quick News Update

Hey, cakes.

As we near the end of the month without an early access release I feel I need to talk about what's been going on recently for those who may be out of the loop.

Most of you on my Discord server know this already but I've been down with a nasty cold for most of the past couple of weeks, which seriously limited what I was able to accomplish. Some work's been done, but I'm way short of where I wanted to be, which was to have one path scripted for the Zombie storyline. It's safe to say that I'm not there yet :/

But in much worse news, my artist announced the other day that he's been hospitalized with Covid. While he appears to be on the road to recovery, I'm sure we all understand that making illustrations for my silly visual novel is going to be least of his concerns for the time being. I just hope he's going to be okay :(

So, with that said I'm mostly recovered from my cold so I'm going to see what I can do before the month is out. My plan, such as it is, is to get a preview release out for you angelcakes on Saturday to show you the state of play. I'll follow that up with an early access release for all of you either on Monday or Tuesday, by which time I'll be trying to write as much script as I can for the Zombie storyline. Writing an ending is still the goal, but I'm not terribly optimistic. We'll see how it goes.

So... yeah. Not a good time, but it is what it is. Anyway, I'll have more updates real soon!
