Art Preview: Nozomi Zombie Storyline Rehearsal Scene (Part 1)

Here it is! The big CG I teased about last time is taking shape and I have the first part of it to show you all~
This CG set is intended to illustrate the big scene near the end of the new-look Zombie storyline where Kyou, having committed to doing a stage show for the school culture festival, is rehearsing for his act in Nozomi's house. Not to mention, the fact Nozomi's mother is involved is giving him the opportunity to try his penlight on someone other than his peers for the first time...
The scene begins with the three participants for his show lined up on the living room couch as Kyou prepares to start. At this point it's also worth noting that I've made this CG double-sized, to allow for me to zoom the image in-game to focus on certain people and details in the scene without distorting the image too much.
As Kyou turns on his penlight and starts inducting his volunteers into trance, I think it'd be cool to have the camera pan quickly over each person's face in turn as the penlight shines in her eyes, instead of just having the complete image seen here. Another thing you might notice on this second image is the absence of socks. I've had them drawn on separate layers so as to facilitate a later part of the scene when someone, not naming names, gains the compulsion to steal them, so this detail is going to come in handy as this CG is developed further...
I think this new piece of art is gonna take the crown for most ambitious CG in Penlight when it's done~ Expect to see this first part of it finished in time for the next early access release, due out by the end of the month ^^
