Hi, cakes!
The Zombie route rewrite continues its slow but steady journey to completion. In the meantime, here's some more artwork I've had produced for it, depicting a scene from the morning after Nozomi's terrifying transformation.
So, Kyou turns up for school to notice Nozomi is there at the gates chatting to her close friend, Hiroko. Seems she's just got done explaining why she's swapped her glasses for a conspicious bruise on her cheek. Only she may have told a different version of events than the one where she was stomping around Kyou's house trying to eat him...
Naturally Hiroko's full of concern for her bestie, while Nozomi complains about how she's going to cope going to class without her specs. Upset at seeing her so miserable, Hiroko takes it upon herself to give Nozomi a big ol' hug right there by the gates.
It's a little embarrassing for Nozomi, but a comfort nonetheless as the pair start reminiscing about their junior high days when Nozomi was kinda habitually clumsy and Hiroko gave a lot more hugs. It succeeds in putting a smile back on Nozomi's face. For a little while at least, before she notices Kyou's watching them...
