It's Sayori's turn for the CG treatment this week and it's another big, detailed scene! Although I have to say, it kinda sucks that you get all this cool art while playing the unethical side of the Alter storyline while the ethical side has none besides a simple ending scene...
Maybe I can do something about that later, but in the meantime please enjoy this preview of another CG in the Alter route guilt free~ This one covers the scene at the end of Kyou's date night with Sayori's alter as they grab a bite to eat after hanging out at the mall.
It starts well enough. Sayori, or at least her alter ego, is having a good time on her day off thanks to Kyou, as they enjoy an evening meal together. Much like in Nozomi's café scene, Sayori gets a good range of expressions (this one's my favourite) as the two of them make friendly chit-chat while they eat.
However, as conversation moves on to discussing her future, Alt-Sayori doesn't hide the contempt she has for her current study-laden career path and is set on making some drastic changes. No longer able to ignore that things are seriously wrong with Sayori and the way she's acting, Kyou attempts to undo the damage he's done only for her to drop a few truth bombs on him.
Kyou is shocked into silence as Alt-Sayori makes a tearful plea to leave her just as she is, reasoning that she deserves to exist just as much as the original Sayori. It leaves him stunned with indecision while Alt-Sayori leaves things there, hoping he'll make the right choice when the time comes...
Really looking forward to seeing this one finished! Expect to see it in next month's early access release for cheesecakes, although I imagine you angel cakes out there will get to see it by this weekend~
