Early Access 0.1529.2 - Doll Storyline Continuation & CGs

Soooo, I've had another highly frustrating writing period; spending much of the last fortnight toiling over Sayori's Doll storyline. I'm still trying to work things out, and I think that's clear in some of the dialogue that I've managed to lay down here in the new scenes to replace the outline from before. This is turning out to be the toughest storyline I've worked on yet! Still, you're more than welcome to check out what's been written for the new scenes and feedback is encouraged ^^;
That, and the two CGs I previewed over the last couple weeks, are about it for this release. There'll be a minor update in a couple days, but that'll mostly be to bring the Spanish translation up to speed so I'll likely just update this news post when it's done. After that, I'll see where my head's at with regards to what to work on next. I'm really not all that sure yet...

UPDATE - This post now links to the updated version, which will be Penlight's public release for October. There's been a few minor script edits to the Doll storyline on day 7 and appropriate BGM added for the most recent scene, along with updated Spanish translation.

What's New
- New CG for Hiroko's route, at the end of the "Ticklish Hands" storyline
- New CG for Nozomi's route, during her "Trance" storyline
- Sayori's Doll storyline has had its outline replaced with proper script, up to day 7
- Word count is now around 223,000
- Spanish localisation: Various edits and corrections to the existing script
- Updated the end credits with the latest backers
- Lots of typo corrections (did a sweep of the whole script to find them)
Known Issues
- Changing the language on a line where an animation occurs (like screen shake) will throw up an error.
Comments
I'm toying with the idea of doing another festival scene but nothing's set in stone yet. Like with Hiroko's second storyline, I'm taking a very seat-of-my-pants approach to the doll story so I can't say how it will end yet xD

2020-09-21 22:34:13 +0000 UTCAhh, I'm so glad you're liking it ^^ As for that CG you mention, it's one of the endings on Sayori's route, where you change her personality but make sure to change it back before she leaves the house.
