Early Access 0.1526.1 - Misc. Edits and Doll Path Preview

Urrgh. Hi cakes. 

Any writing ambitions for this period I might have had got burned away by the week-long heatwave we had over there  -_- I got a few things done but yeah, really frustrated with my written progress once again.

At least my artist wasn't affected by any of that, as he's produced two more CGs to fill out the game. I'm especially happy with how the Robot path one turned out. Nozomi's CG previewed the other day didn't make it in time as expected but not to worry, that's something to look forward to for next week~

So yeah, about that writing. Nozomi's Trance path got a few more edits, but not as many as I was expecting. I think it's in a better shape than I started though?

Hm, what else... I wrote something approaching a finished script for that one choice on the Sleeper Agent path but it's gotten to the point where I was just done with it. Not happy at all with the ending, which recycles some parts from the other ending, but I've wasted enough of my waking hours on it <.< Maybe it's not as bad as I think it is; see what you make of it.

Last bit of news on the writing front is that I've made a tentative start on Sayori's doll storyline. I've had some ideas stewing over the last few weeks so I've been wanting to try and implement them. I ran out of time to do much with it so far, but there's most of the first scene to check out in this release that you're more than welcome to check out.

And finally, I want to give serious props to Waldo, who has been working through the game's script with tremendous speed to see Penlight fully readable in Spanish. We're now at a point where you can read many of the game's storylines from start to finish in either language and that's just incredible to me!

What with this month having five weekends, I'm gonna do another release for you cakes next week. With the cooler weather I'm hoping to have a better head for getting some decent script written down, plus Nozomi's CG is still to come. See you then!

What's New

• Added a new CG to the third of Sayori's Alter storyline endings
• Added a new CG to the Villainous Robot storyline
• Made a few more edits to Nozomi's Trance storyline, on the later scenes
• Completed a version of the alternate ending on the Villainous Sleeper Agent storyline where Kyou chooses to fight 
• Began writing the Doll storyline on Sayori's route
• Added a language select screen when people start the game for the first time
• Inserted a disclaimer message that appears at the start of the game
• Spanish translation: Day 6 and the epilogues are now fully translated, and some typos on previous days have been corrected. Some storylines are now fully playable in Spanish!
• Added one new piece of music. It plays during the first scene of Sayori's Doll storyline.
• Fixed a couple of bugs that prevented a small number of CG images from being unlocked in the gallery (Nozomi's kneeling CG and Sayori's Alter Ending #3)
• Word count is now around 216,000
• Added this month's new supporters to the end credits 
• The usual miscellaneous spelling and grammatical corrections

Known Issues

• Changing the language on a line where an animation occurs (like screen shake) will throw up an error. This probably won't be fixed until I limit where you can change the language, which I'll get round to when the translation has caught up with the current script
• I broke some of the CG code for Sayori's Alter endings. If you unlocked them in the gallery previously, you'll need to unlock them again
