Me? I'm doing alright. Haven't left the house in three weeks but I'm holding up. I think ^^; Anyway, Penlight's still coming along, even if recently it's felt a bit like monkeys mashing a typewriter when it's come to getting anything done. So while I'm frustratedly trying to get my next update ready I thought some of you would like to know of another visual novel production that you may not have heard of...
Even in Sorrow, a Black Lily Blooms (EveBloom for short) is a similar game to Penlight in many respects. It's a story with a heavy focus on hypno and ethical choices depending on your preference or level of curiosity. Also like Penlight, there's still a lot to come from it, but what's there has a LOT of promise and the hypno scenes themselves are some of the best-written in any visual novel I've ever read!
Anyway I'm mentioning it now because the author, WaifusAndSyrup, just released a public update today after a lengthy hiatus and we thought it'd be a good idea to do a little cross-promo. So if you're looking for something else to read between waiting for new Penlight content you should definitely check him out! Just be advised that EveBloom is a good deal more sexually explicit than Penlight, which could be a plus for some of you. Just saying~
