Art Update - Nozomi Trance Path Rewrite: First CG!

Note - As usual with these art updates, there may be spoilers ahead. This post concerns Nozomi's rewritten storyline which is very much a work in progress. Specifically, it's about a scene that's been outlined in the early access releases this month.

Hello again, cakes! 

As you well know, I've been working/struggling hard trying to rewrite Nozomi's main path. This allows, among other things, more chances for Nozomi to explore her MC kink with Kyou. This CG I've most recently commissioned... well, it's adventurous for me because not only does it concern a kink scene, it's also a scene I haven't properly written yet ^^;

So in this rewrite, instead of things coming to a head by the end of the week, Kyou and Nozomi are instead taking things a little slower with their penlight-related shenanigans. Not a great deal slower, it has to be said, as Nozomi already admits by this point that she wants to experiment with Kyou's new hobby in a D/s kinda way. Which leads us to the weekend where she invites him over to hers, just to get to know him better in a social setting of course and, well... 

It all leads to them finding an excuse to try a little hypno-bondage. As you do.

First, Kyou has her drop back into trance for him and gets her to imagine what being tied up would feel like; impressing it as her reality while having her assume a bondage position with her hands and feet resting together... 

Even if she knows what Kyou intends, Nozomi's still shocked once she wakes to find herself unable to do more than wriggle on the floor, her limbs bound by the "ropes" Kyou has impressed on her mind. It's a confusing and exciting experience for Nozomi, as she battles against her own imagination while Kyou watches his handiwork play out in front of him. 

Happy at yet another successful penlight routine, Kyou soon takes the opportunity to tease Nozomi while she's helpless. She can only growl and snark at him in response, while Kyou imagines what her world must look like to her right now...

I was a little nervous about how these would turn out, as the guy I pay to draw the art for Penlight doesn't usually do this sort of thing, but... I think he did REALLY well here? Even though they still need to be cleaned up with final line art, I like these images a ton as they are!

Kyou and Nozomi take this scene a step further and enact a little consensual "punishment", which I'm keen to have illustrated as well later on, although I figure that's gonna be a challenge to conceptualize in a way that my artist can draw well. That's an issue for another time, though!

Anyway, look forward to the cleaned-up version of this CG in next month's early access release, where I also hope to have the dialogue of the accompanying scene written out to go with it~

And before I end this post, a bonus pic. I don't think there's a cause to use it in the game proper, but I figured I'd show how the ropes look without the ghostly effect :p
