Cheesecaaaakes~
This update is all about the CGs! While there are some story additions, the main feature here I think is all the additional art that I've been able to put into the game. As you've seen from the art updates, we now have a CG for the intro sequence, the game's original ending and the start of Sayori's Alter path, and the finalized art has all been placed in this release. With the bulk of the essential sprite art done, it was nice to be able to turn the focus properly on CGs and get these done ^^
And with a half decent number of CGs now in the game, I thought it was a good time to add a gallery feature. You should now be able to view any of the CGs and their variants via the new CG Gallery screen in the main menu so long as your current save has them unlocked~
As for those story additions, I focused on Sayori's route this time around, plotting out what happens if Kyou decides to leave Sayori in her altered state instead of switching her back. This new story breaks the narrative rule I had in place constraining all the events to a single week, and I'm likely to do the same with other stories now going forward.
Unfortunately I couldn't finish the new story branch as I'd hoped, or get anywhere near to be honest, but I have everything but the ending sketched out and you're more than welcome to take a look if you want~
