So, up until now I've mostly been adding first drafty new content to flesh out the story, giving the user some more choices to explore and generally just upping the word count. This fortnight I was thinking about how to make the overall story more consistent and generally make more sense within its own rules.
Mostly what bothered me was how the thoughts and actions of Kyou don't always line up, and in particular his belief that what he does is only effective on willing participants.
I've been altering the text in some key places along both routes to try and make sure Kyou's behaviour and reasoning are consistent throughout, which includes adding a little plot point in the beginning about there having been a stage performance a year ago that helps provide some context for how the whole story kicked off in the first place.
I would REALLY appreciate people's thoughts on the changes, in particular regarding the confrontation scene near the end on the con-consensual route where Kyou penlight-zaps Nozomi and her friend.
