What's Going On In November

Hey folks, Jay here. It's November (already!) and I wanted to update y'all on what's going on at Possum Creek and give you all some exclusive tidbits of what the future holds.

Inscrutable Cities

We're working on a new crowdfunding project with Backerkit towards the end of the month. We're super excited to be publishing Inscrutable Cities by Julian Jarboe as a full-color zine. We'll talk more about it as things get closer, and post previews up on the Patreon, but as a treat for all of you I wanted to show off one of the black and white cover sketches we got from the incredible Serena Malyon:

Seven-Part Pact

Development continues on Seven-Part Pact as I make the critical and world-shifting change to have it no longer be set in England. It's now in an Earthsea-inspired archipelago called Isha, and it's got some really cool vibes. You can check out how it's going here.

EDIT: Use this link to claim!

Magic's final home dwelled within the city of Isha, at the center of an archipelago caught between four empires, a thousand miles deep within the furthest seas. I have never seen Isha the way you might, so allow an old hag the chance to revel in her description of such a place, which through my words one may see anew with unburdened eyes. Isha is the city which gave birth to all other cities. It was a city of columns, of perfect geometry, of shallow pools and echoing caves, of walls which stood when time was new. I wish I still could lead you past the marble statues of the ancient dead, up and down the winding stairs carved into igneous stone, to rest our weary feet in hot baths and listen to the poetry which once made the gods themselves weep. Alas, I cannot share in this pleasure with you, for the city of Isha (and magic alongside it) are both well and truly gone. To understand why, we must begin at the beginning, to imagine in our mind's eye the seven magicians of Isha, and the role they played in her inevitable demise…

I'm on Tumblr Now

Due to the hectic nonsense going on over on Twitter, I've decided to diversify my social media and set up a Tumblr account. If that's something you'd enjoy following, or if you want to ask me any questions about game design or anything of the sort, you can find me here.

Seeya Around!

Thanks for reading, folks! In December I'm going to an art commune for a writing retreat, so I won't be particularly active on here — but I hope when I come out the other side I'll have some cool stuff for all of you. Take care, and stay warm!
