She waddled through the seemingly abandoned scene when a horrific scream pierced the deafening silence from the room down the hall. The woman's heartbeat rose as her skin became damp. Her curiosity overtook her better judgment as she approached the door, seemingly ignoring the otherworldly scratched door. What could have caused such a horrid sound...

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Your suggestion is quite intriguing and could make for an interesting encounter with the Alien, but I plan on keeping it simpler to finish the sequence as soon as possible. I appreciate your enthusiasm and wish I had the time and resources to make it happen.

Just spitballing here, but in the source material a nurse and doctor are alerted due to the sound of heart monitors flat lining. What if... Instead of the flat line sound they are alerted to the sudden sound of way more heartbeats than what were recorded previously? And what if the doctor and nurse where pregnant women themselves?
