He knows the exact location, since he broke out without a mask, and Lalo knew his true identity. Even if Gus would send Walter home to Germany, Lalo could theoretically "interrogate" him until he knows everything. And Mike forcing Walter to send Margarete home, was the only mercy he could give, since Gus would also wanna cut loose ends, i.e. the Wife. Because technically, Lalo could now try to get information via the wife. Like: "Give me the names of your husband's colleagues", and then get the needed info from them. Though business...
